Show up to class, have a good attitude, and speak during her lectures and she will see that you have an A in her class.

I had to take her world lit 1 class to satisfy a core requirement. Robinson gives a huge workload which is very hard to complete on top of other course work. The readings are a head ache and her wording on quizzes/test is misleading. She never made her expectations clear and grades extremely harsh. Do NOT take her. Didn't make deans list bc of her.

I'm an English major who (before this class) got straight A's. Robinson grades what you write very harshly and gives practically no instruction on what she expects. She is a very awkward person, and fails to make class discussions interesting (this is coming from someone who loves literature). Extremely disorganized. Don't take this professor.

She is my favorite english professor, she is passionate about the books and make sure not only is it applicable but interesting. The in class discussions are awesome and funny. She has us writing a lot of shorter assignments but if your content is good you should do fine. I took her twice and loved it the entire time. Brit lit one and two

Dr. Robinson is an intellectual has certain expectations of students analytical, reasoning and communication skills. She is a tough grader but she is also fair. If you're that student who sits in the back and says I don't get it all the time, its probably your own fault. She's one of the most inspirational teachers I've ever had. Love Cats as well

She's wonderful as a professor and is quirky and cute IN CLASS. Since it's a hybrid, however, you only see her IN CLASS once a week. And outside of the class, she is absolutely no help. When I asked for guidance, she told me that I didn't need to improve, but still I received a 79%. On almost every assignment.

BJ Robinson is the sweetest lady. She is also hilarious in her own, little kooky way. Her lectures are funny and intriguing. However, I am not the best at writing/literature so I kind of struggled. But after a while you adjust. If you work hard enough you will make an A/B! STUDY HARD FOR THE TESTS and take notes on EVERY poem!!

I can't stress enough how much I love this professor. I've had her three times, two times being upper level ENGL courses. VERY Passionate about the material. She is ALWAYS willing to help you and she's open minded and accepting. Strong feminist. TAKE HER. I've made A's in all three of her courses. Oh and class is partially online. Meet once weekly

Terrrrrible!!!! She is the most confusing teacher ever. She never goes over all the material. She does not ever give a grade higher than a 90%, so good luck making anything higher than a B. She has a weird sense of humor. Over all the class is not a very pleasant experience.

I absolutely loved this class. Dr. Robinson is extremely entertaining & definitely has a passion for it. The class itself is not too hard, but the test are. However, after the first test, you learn how to study for the others. I just read sparknotes & still got an A, but I went to every class & took notes. It's a time-consuming class, but worth it

I busted my butt doing her reading and online assignments every other night. I failed her first paper. I visited her during her office hours to discuss how I could improve. She had me read the assignment (I did) and then she smiled and said "That's great! Try again next time!" And then the test was nothing like she described. DO NOT take her!

I would not take her if you're not an English major. Class only meets once a week, but the online assignments due 3x a week are sometimes difficult to remember to do and can be extremely frustrating. I don't like her, but then again I don't care about literature.

I did not like Dr. Robinson at first, as she is kind of cooky. However, she is EXTREMELY knowledgable in Literature and EXTREMELY helpful. I believe that she would genuinely go out of her way to help anyone who seeked her guidance.

I wouldn't take her if you're not an English major. I'm a CJ/Forensics major and she might as well be speaking another language. If you're passionate about English, taker her. But if you aren't I'd stay away. Hard classes (1102/2122), lots of reading and analysis.

Dr. Robinson is passionate about literature and often engages in lengthy discussions with the class on the works we read, which I suppose is a good thing if you're wanting to learn about the literature. She can be a bit long-winded, but she's fun to engage with, and I certainly don't regret taking her class. I am more informed because of it.

SOOOO BORING.. She is pretty crazy and a nice lady. I never paid attention in class and made a B. The online component of the class is no fun.. We had something due at midnight every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. I would not recommend this class to a friend.

I took Bonnie for many a class whilst attending NGCSU... and I love the woman :3 She's a blast in the class and supportive outside of class. All the complaints of her grading and how you can't study for the class it's poorly thought out. You study by studying the writer's era. Yes she grades tough. Be ready to work hard! <3 btw i wasn't a lit major
