Good prof, explains things very well. Don't need read course notes, just go to every lecture, and you are all set. Final exam extremely easy, for questions DIRECTLY taken from midterm and a past final which is posted online. :)

He's a very kind prof with the best interests of his students in mind. His passion for statistics is evident in his teaching. His lectures are somewhat slow (but clear) and he drills key points into you multiple times.

Worst STAT prof ever. You won't get any help from him. You go find/email him for him, he will tell you that he will take a look at it later or to find him later... then he disappears. If you emailed him, he'll ignore all your emails.

Boring yes, but if you do the work, you will do very well in the class. He repeats what you need to know way too many times so you SHOULD know what is going to be on the exam. He is a jerk if you ask him questions though. Flipped out when I asked him how to get the right answer on the midterm, he thought I was asking for marks.

One of the best professors in the university. He is easy to learn from. I did very little work in this class and got a 90, do not take this class with anyone else unless you like to get lower marks.

Great prof in the class, but I went to ask him about his grading practices and he flipped out. His secretary offered to give me photocopies of a solution. He found this out and accused me of stealing university resources. He is nice in class but a jerk if you question his grading in any manner.

Very bad prof. Lectures are same as course notes. Course notes are very unclear and contains many mistakes. Useless in going to class. A waste of my time and money, because I learned everything on my own.

This guy teaches very slow and repeats what's on course notes. Going to class just to learn what's on the exam and what's not. The course is easy, but the syntax of "R" makes the assignment hard. It takes tons of time to search the syntax in the course notes, which is of course a waste

Learn NOT to take notes and just listen (or not listen as I did :P) What is most important is that you READ his course notes--they are very thorough and helpful. After prof evaluations were handed in, he turned into a complete jerk and was really rude if you went to his office. Exams are fair.
