Professor does not give homework. The book is greatly used on this course, but is cheap, and easy to understand because he wrote it. He gives three tests, for each one hands out study sheets for you to study. The format of the test is mostly fill in the blanks, few definitions here and there. Fully recommend! He is very sweet!

Amazing teacher, very nice. no homework because he doesn't use the website. Class itself was a tougher topic but he gives study sheets and fill in the blank tests. No complaints.

He is a great teacher! I really enjoyed his class & everything is super clear. Sometimes he gets a bit too religious & likes to impose that on the kids, but otherwise, I thought he knew what he was talking about. Easy A if you study the notes.

Got to love this Professor. He really tries to engage everyone in the lectures. Does not give papers like other philosophy professors. He usually gives three exams throughout the semester, and if you take good notes you'll be good to go.

Br. Owen is an amazing person. Talks alot about 9/11 and makes references to baseball. His class is pretty boring but as long as you take notes that's all you need to study.Very sweet man and makes philosophy easy

He is a very good professor but his classes are super boring so get ready to drink coffee. He writes all the notes on the board and its alot of writing by the way. His exams are super easy.If you yawn or cough in class he stares at you. So no funny stuff cause he can be a bit weird about that. But it is definitely a class I would recommend

By far the most well-read person I have ever met in my life. His intellect absorbs you and you literally sit there in awe. He is a great professor, i would recommemd you take him just for the experience. He does his part in helping you with the class and it is your job to do the rest.

I like this class. Br Owen is one of the best teachers in St. Francis. Even though I have to be awake at the inhumane hour of 8am
