Okay I took her freshman year I will be a senior soon and her class was well organized. People said she is horrible but god forbid you missed a class slides are always there to be helpful. It's a mandatory class so complaining wont do anything. She knows her stuff and if you study the tests are easy. STRAIGHT FROM THE SLIDES. Shame she retired

This woman is ridiculous. Word of advice. If you need to take a REL 1101 course, STAY AWAY FROM HER!!! Her exams are WRITTEN. Essays and short answers, that's it. She's the worst possible. For a REL 101 course, she makes it way too difficult. Please don't take her, I beg of you.

shes not THAT bad. her lectures r very clear and she gives study packets, which is great help. i didnt even really have 2 touch that textbook, i feel like i bought it for nuthin'! i hated doin' a site visit though, her tests r fair.all u need to pass her tests is 2 take good notes as she lectures and the study packets she gives out. shes nice too!

I don't understand all of the bad reviews here. I'm halfway through my religious studies class with Dr. pedersen and I think it's extremely interesting. True, it's not the easiest class, but Dr. Pedersen is very clear in her lectures and the tests and reports are fair. I'd take her again in a second

Monotonous voice, yes,but what an intelligent woman!I had no interest in taking this required class,but I learned a lot about myself & my views. Semi-hard grader, but when you get that "A", you know you really earned it!Not as bad as I thought it would be.As I said, she is such an astute woman!
