Lectures were great. He is very knowledgeable about animal science. Pay attention, study and you will do fine on quizzes and exams. Labs were mostly hands on and a great experience. Overall, the class and professor were easy going. Would take a class taught by Mr. Angus again.

He does sometimes make a lecture longer than it needs to be. His labs are ALWAYS unique and fun. He will not use the textbook so don't bother buying it. He is a funny man and he will tell you a lot of stories about the animals he owns and about his family.

By far the best teacher around! Knows that even college kids need to work for a living. Clearly illustrates the material in an understanding matter as well as life experience. If you ever needed help outside of class, he won't hesitate.

Hands down, best teacher I've had at JJC. He's an amazing teacher and an even greater person. You can tell how passionate he is about agriculture and how he wants to share that knowledge with students. Study your notes and you'll pass the tests. He makes sure you learn from hands on experiences, so labs and field trips are taken.

This professor is literally awesome. I wish every teacher was like him because then I would never have a complaint. He is down to earth and teaches everything I love, agriculture. He offers extra credit when needed. He curves grades when needed. He is fun to talk to. He gives great insight. Never a dull moment with Mr. Angus.

I took his course as a requirement and I thought I would hate it. Turned out to be my favorite course. Ever. He's really into what he's doing, and he is really funny. Challenging class if you don't take notes and pay attention, but he makes picking up on the bulk of the information super easy.

I loved having Mr. Angus as my teacher. He was truly understanding if you had an issue and he made class very enjoyable. His tests are not that hard as long as you simply review your notes and he always offered extra credit on the tests as well. I also found his sense of humor pretty funny too, definitely one of my favorite teachers at JJC.

Great guy tries to make class fun. A few field trips (for lab) near the end of the semester are fun and keeps us entertained. He really knows his animals and it shows in his class. Plenty of power point notes to refer too for the tests.
