Weaver serves as both my Professor and my Adviser. So I know the guy pretty well. He can be weird sometimes, but he'd do anything to help his students. As the review before me said: He's not the best with new tech, but that's not to say he's old hat. He's pretty sharp, and I can't wait for future classes with the man.

Weaver cares about his students. This man will literally bend over backward to help you. (I've seen him do it.) While he's no tech wizard, he always strives to improve the department and the broadcasting major. Weaver is enthusiastic about everything Westminster.

I've had mr.weaver over several semesters. Overall he is great and I consider him to be a friend as well as a teacher. However, he changes his mind ALL the time and sometimes I think he doesn't honestly see for himself if his assignments are really possible...but in the end he usually helps you along and makes the impossible possible...

Definitely gets into the experiential learning thing. If you want to sit back and just listen, read or write papers forget it with him. His classes mean lots and lots of work. Translation: I WORKED A LOT AND I LEARNED A LOT.

I did a ton of work in the class because there was a crap load of assignments. The more I did the easier it got. I'm proud of my efforts on the radio and plan to work in the newsroom next semester. He also made me make a resume tape and learn how to convert things to MP3 and now I'm looking at internships. Thanks!

It's sometimes hard to figure out what he's asking of you and often changes his mind; but he's very easy going and relies on students to help design his courses. Always willing to help you, and has a lot of experience in news. Sometimes you just have to "do" and surprise him with the results. "It's easier to ask forgiveness than permission."
