Mr. Libow is a great professor. He loves to help students that want to learn (which was my case). His lectures are pretty clear but if there is something that you still don't get, he will eagerly answer your questions. Attend class on time+respect the class+do work+ask for help if necessary=A

This is not a great class. Professor Libow wants the students to learn HIS own definitions (word for word) of algebra-terms, but he only "tells" them to you - he doesn't give you something to study. Most students would be doing well if the tests were only on the math problems. He's a little loopy and has poor hearing... Students are RUDE, too.

he does not know how to teach at all. he talks about**** that has nothing to do with what ur doing. He thinks hes funny, but he is not. U can learn in his class, but u have to know the language of algebra really well. u have to write exactly what the meaning of a word means. he sucks at teaching period. dont take him.

You'll die in his class! Trust the students on this site that have given him a bad rating. He is definitly not competent to do his job and should be fired. He appears nice at the beginning but shows his true colors after the first couple of weeks. He is certainly not a teacher by educational standards. Find another math teacher.

RUN!!! If you have signed up for this class when listed as "staff" and find out he is your teacher, DROP IT IMMEDIATELY AND FIND ANOTHER CLASS. He makes the most basic info completely complicated, skips over important info, and has the math dept. chair completely fooled.

Unclear teaching skills. Students have to correct his errors when Libow writes our math problems on the board. Easy to pass his class if you follow his methods. If not, you'll be so confused, you'll end up failing his class.

Really easy class. Alot of people didn't like him cause they said he was confusing but you just have to learn how to follow his instructions and his new language of algrebra. I didn't even try hard enough or study for tests and I still got an A.

I thought his class was great. He tries to help everyone and his lectures are very very clear. I have never been good at math and I was able to get an A. You can't expect to pass a class in college if you don't work at it or ask for help
