Dr. Bruno was my advisor/professor/friend at Boise State in the 1980's. I was fortunate to take several courses from her at the upper division level. She was significantly influential in my career path. Some noted that Dr. Bruno assigned a plethora of daily assignments and essays; in my experience each and served a viable educational purpose.

Awesome teacher! And amazingly, this class is much easier than Eng 1A. 4 m/c tests total (mostly from handbook), 2 research papers, & small writing assignments in between. Gives 24 hr grace period for all assignments after due date. She is clear, concise, & SO helpful. Returns emails quickly. Best online class I've taken thus far.

I took her online class and it was fun. Of course you have to put time into it. Prof Bruno has great materials that you read on your own. all the grip about her class being hard is not warranted. you earn the grade you get. Prof Bruno's english 200 class was fantastic!

DONT TAKE HER ONLINE CLASS =( She has assignment almost everyday of the week! Her essay topics are sooo boring and weirdddd. She is OBSESSED with Hawaii stuffs. Essay after essay after essay. Most of the time students don't understand what she wants us to write. Take another prof if you can. Her class consumes way too much time.

I took this class in 8 weeks and online, Bruno is so helpful and provides you with so much information to help you write your papers. The directions are so clear on Blackboard and if you have any questions, she responds the very day or next day. The only negative thing I could say about the class was that the essay topics were so weird. Take her!!

Great teacher! She is very helpful and not a boring instructor. She does keep you until 9:50pm, but makes the class fun. I've taken her for English 200, 340 and 1B. i hope she has another class for the English 1B. Take her she's awesome! =)

Professor Bruno is an awesome teacher. I strongly disliked English before this class. She was really helpful and completely explained everything she wanted. It was crystal clear and I got an A! :) There's definitely some work, but its not bad work so its fun. The idea she has is fun too! Great professor! :) Ohh and open book and open notes :D

I took an on line class. It is very hard for foreign students, but she gave easy grade on essay. Alot of assignments, essay, very hard quizes & hard tests. If you can pass her class with a good grade, then you learned alot from her. Because in ENG 1B we need to understand grammer very well. That is why she wanted us to learned the advance grammer.

Professor Bruno was an amazing teacher, I learned so much from her class. The class was online, you have 5 essays to write during semester. I have never got an A on a paper until in this class. If you do all the essays you will pass the class. She is there if you need her.

I was horrible at English in high school, and now I am convinced it was my teachers fault. I LOVE PROF BRUNO's teaching techniques. I took both her eng 1a & 1b online. She is so helpful, attentive, understanding, and kind. I 100% recommend this class to anyone.

Great teacher, very clear and straightforward. Take Dr. BRUNO AND YOU'LL GET the benefit of it. Your knowledge will raise up! It's helpful for all levels. So far I took ENG 40, ENG 200 AND ENG 1A. I WAS a straight A student. A majority of the course work consists upon grammar. The tests consists of selecting sentences that are grammatically correct, but Bruno makes her own grammar rules. Some sentences can be corrected many ways but she chooses only one way HERS. She is slow to responding to emails and the writing assignments are juvenile.

This class is fast paced but is clear. There is a lot of mandatory for the class. If you are looking for a "easy" internet class don't take this one. I took the 8-week online course. The pace of the class was fast and took some getting used to, but Bruno taught well and made full use of Blackboard. Instructions were detailed and clear, and Bruno was extremely helpful and answered all questions and provided great help with drafts. She is a fair grader as well. Highly recommend.

ONLINE CLASS I'm good at english, but this class is horrible. her due dates are all over the place, she is a slow grader, her instructions are incredibly long and unnecessary. but she is a really nice person...just not a good class. she picks topics for your papers, you dont get to choose your topic, so you are writing things you dont care about.
