Wensveen is no longer a professor. His name is associated with Royal Roads in Canada but he doesn't teach there. "They" borrowed his name for marketing purposes. Wensveen is now President of a major international aviation corporation in the US. After ERAU he was one of the founders of MAXjet Airways (www.maxjet.com).

I took two classes with this guy as I needed guaranteed As to boost my GPA. Worked! As for classes,he was just on an ego trip the entire time which got tiresome very fast. Classes divided evenly into the loved up hangers on and those who loathed him. He's still a teacher just not at ERAU - now at Royal Roads which apparently is a school in Canada.

Excellent course on airline management and operations. I was able to bring Dr. W's experiences into my own aviation business. His advice on business plan development has "made" my aircraft charter business fly! Best professor I've ever had!

To the goof ball below. It was Canada 3000 and not Air Canada. Shows you how much you paid attention. Wensveen retired in his early 30s from what I understand and successfully participated in the launch of Maxjet Airways. I know because I'm now working for him!!!

I guess you either loved or hated this guy - depending on how much of his own PR you bought into. For me he was okay - a bit arrogrant and a show off - I got an 'A' without any effort. I wonder when his airline will go live - I arrived at ERAU in 2000 and he said then it would be op within a year.

Best professor I ever had in my entire undergrad/grad career. Real life was brought into the classroom and I appreciate the extra mile Dr. Wensveen went for me inside and outside the classroom environment. I wish him the best of luck launching the new airline.

I was Dr. W's assistant for three years and I can guarantee he didn't hand out 'A' grades. In fact, only about 25% of his total students received 'A's. You can look all this information up on the ERAU record base. The average undergrad grade was a 'B' but grad students received 'As' more frequently

Dr. Wensveen was the best professor Riddle ever had. He left the "Riddle Run Around" last Spring to help launch a new international airline. The two jerks that wrote the negative comments probably failed his class! Jealous freaks!

This was the most hands-on and realistic course I've ever taken. Dr. Wensveen brings the world into the classroom and takes the students on site when possible. He helped a number of his past students get internships and jobs with airlines, et al.
