She was great. I mean she always was looking to help students and make sure that they felt comfortable with the new material. She called on everyone for good practice. I enjoyed her class and she was very funny and kind. Just do the work and extra credit and you're good.

She is by far my favorite professor to have ever had. Shes fun, and nice and very easy going. As long as you do all the homework, and don't miss more than a few classes, you'll be exempt from the final. Overall she keeps the class fun

She seems very nice until you try to advance on your own. She doesn't like that and tries to humiliate people that ask questions beyond where she wants your understanding of French to be. Also she rambles and goes off topic constantly. We got very little done for a French II class. Her projects are ridiculous and feel like a high school class.

She's an excellent teacher! She's very passionate about her job. She's very helpful but some people may have to put extra effort to do well because the material becomes harder in the last few topics and lessons. Go to class, take good notes, always do all of the homework (it helps a lot), and you'll be fine. Take her!

Awesome teacher, I will definitely take her again. If you get an A average on everything and are respectful, never absent, and some other stuff, you get to skip the final. Do homework well, she could tell if you copy and paste it. She is funny and a very nice person. If you need help just ask her and she will help you out and give you tips to help.

Professor cavanaugh is a great french professor. She makes everything easier and is clear about all the topics we learn. She takes time out to explain anything that we don't understand. Just study your notes and worksheets for exams and you'll do perfectly fine. Very helpful.

Honestly she is the nicest and coolest teacher. If u need help in anything or have any questions, she is willing to listen to you. U will pass the class as long as u take good notes, study for the tests, do extra credit if u must, and the online homework. I took her for 121 and 122. Both times I really enjoyed her class. Expectations are clear and she will try to help you as much as she can. There's several opportunities for extra credit, and if you study for her tests you will absolutely pass. Be sure to get the online course code, since the online homework is assigned after every class.

If you want to learn French in a clear, efficient manner, take Prof. Cavanaugh. Learning language is tough but prof makes it interesting and she really cares about her students learning.
