Wow, this was a horrible class. Boring as anything, unexplained harshness on grading and an overall very unpleasant and robotic demeanor. If I had 5 minutes with Doc Brown, I'd have him program the Delorean to take me back to the day in 1995 when I filled out my class signup sheet so I could tear it to shreds.

Quite possibly the worst teacher I ever had. Talks so monotone and doesn't change things up to keep it interesting. If you get any grade higher than a C, it's a miracle. No rhyme or reason why she grades so harshly. She has a certain writing style she likes and if you don't have it, there's no hope for you.

She picks favorites. I participated and did my work just as she wanted, but if she still doesn't like you your grade will be affected by it. The only upside to the class was that the textbook used was so interesting and we didn't write about dumb stuff.

Honestly, this professor is dull as a rock. The upside to this class is that there are no tests/quizzes. However, if you don't know how to write a research paper, you're screwed. Your grade is mostly made up of four papers. I liked it because I like writing, but she is just a bore. She IS willing to help, but YOU have to make the effort, too.

If you want to work really hard and get a C regardless of your effort than this is the class for you. This class is impossible. Although she tries to get us to write good papers it is very easy to get discouraged when papers are returned. The class average is always a C. This class is also extremely boring and can put anyone to sleep. Landweber grades on her own opinions of what she wants the paper to be like, not on quality. Taking this class is a BIG mistake!!

Surpasses by leaps and bounds any other teacher i thought i hated. her class puts everyone to sleep-the only problem is her annoying voice keeps you awake! i'd rather set myself on fire than go to that damn class.
