It was interesting to do the movie presentations, but more often than not, he spouted off some extreme liberal views about the Pope and other church leaders. If you can get past that and not miss class, its fairly easy

I took the summer intersessiona and there was a lot of reading. 2 Book reports, 1 presentation, 2 or 3 reflections and a few tests. Tests were fairly easy if you read the material. Final was easy as well, just be sure to read the last few chapters to do well on the multiple choice section of the final. Very intresting professor. Recommended.

Good teacher-knows what hes talking about, makes it interesting. Very clear powerpoints. Grades fairly. Lots of participation, sometimes puts you on the spot. I would take him again. I took notes on exactly what he said and it helped me study for his exams. Go 2 class and u'll be fine

Nice guy. Read 1 short chapter every week or so. 2 book reports/6 page paper & presentation on a Jesus movie. Tests are doable if you study-he goes from his book since he wrote it, couple essays & MC. Lectures are clear w/ powerpoint. Lots of class discussion and calls on people to answer.

Absolutley AMAZING! He is the best professor Ive had thus far. Funny, likeable, and totally into what he teaches. He cares about the students and wants you to do well! I recommend him to anyonewho need a theology!!

What a great guy! He really goes out of his way to make sure you understand what he's talking about. Very good about giving you direction with your papers if you go talk to him. Gives a nice review the class before the test so you know exactly what to expect. Tests were really easy.

really nice guy and very helpfull. His classes are pretty easy, but still interesting, even if you are not in to theology. He is a very liberal Catholic, but doesn't discourage dissenters

Dr. Hill was one of the best profs I had. The readings were short enough, lots of short easy quizzes, and exams were take home. He's really enthusiastic about his class and open to discussion. I would really recommend him to anyone who still needs a theo.
