Dr. Tulloss is great. Lots of homework but manageable, you will need to allocate time to complete the work. Keep up with the work and you will do fine.

Perfect summer class. Yes, there is a lot work. Yes, it seems tedious. Yes, there are a lot of complaints about that but the best way to learn is to learn by doing. You will do a lot of doing in this course. You're here to learn, right? So, learn. You won't remember this coursework by reading, you'll remember it by doing. Tip: TV off and focus!

Gives good lectures about the information in Networking and has useful labs. Hard class if you come into it with little information but he explains it well. The lectures can get a little boring as it is the dry information but he is very knowledgeable.

Brent is an amazing teacher who truly cares about how you do in his class. The lectures may get dry at times due to the material but he tries to make it fun and gets the information stuck in your head so you can look back and reference it easier. Great professor, would highly recommend taking a class with him.

He's a very cool person although the lectures can be quite boring most days. Expect a lot of reading and labs to do. It's open book tests and quizzes so getting an A should be fairly easy if you put the effort.

His classes provide a lot of information. Long labs, hands on projects and a quiz a chapter along with 4 exams. He gives you many opportunities to succeed but he expects you to put out the effort to do so. Overall, I enjoyed his classes and learned a lot. Definitely worth the student loan dollars.

Tullos is an involved, respectful, and professional teacher. You will have work every week, and for his networking classes you will have 4 exams (with no comprehensive final). Respect is a two way street, and if you cheat and he finds out, you are in for a world of hurt. He is a cool, funny, professional guy who takes care of his students.

Tulloss is very informative and presents material in ways that anyone can understand, regardless of your past experience or knowledge. His labs can be quite lengthy, but they help you understand course material better and allow you to apply what you've learned. Overall, I would recommend taking a class with Tulloss, but be prepared to do some work.

Tullos is typically an informative professor who will provide as much help as you need, you simply need to ask. He is very strict on academic integrity (which is a good thing), and gives out plenty of tedious homework. While the homework is tedious, it does help you understand the material. Overall, he is an excellent professor who will push you.

Gotta capture those packets........ If it weren't for the fact that he throws a joke in every now and then, I probably would have off'd myself because the class was so dull, and so, so incredibly long. Too bad the class is required.

This guy must get paid by the question. Every lab has at least 85 questions that have a MINIMUM of 3 spaces to answer. Every step has questions, then questions, then more questions. After you finish answering the questions, you have a quiz with more questions. Then a test with questions. Spend more time trying to answer questions than doing work.

The course does require a good amount of time commitment. Weekly assignments usually consist of a quiz over the chapter(can have retakes) and some lab activities for hands-on learning. Tests are taken every 3 chapters. If you do the work, you will learn the content.

Very understanding, awesome guy. A lot of his classes are lab based which make actually going to class optional as long as you get your stuff done. He knows his stuff.

His classes were engaging and very useful. Most of his classes were packet based, and you worked at your own pace. The material was interesting, and the real-knowledge you got from the class was very useful compared to the book-knowledge you got from some other classes. Both have their place, and it was nice to get a good mixture.

He knows whats going on and is always helpful. He's a fair teacher but not a push over. Very strict on cheating, and does everything he can to prevent it. If you don't know what's going on and want to cheat, study harder, it's not worth getting kicked out of school for.

You can tell he is in it for the teaching and not just the pay check. Very hard working and organized. This class is only easy if you just memorize multiple choice answers and don't actually learn anything. If you actually do the assignments and quizes the way he tells you to it's more difficult but also more rewarding.

His choice of textbook was no good. He continually ****ed about teaching the course as though he didn't care. As others said he displays favoritism and can be extremely sometimes. Though he knows computers I did not pay him to treat me like I'm stupid or to **** about not wanting to teach.
