He assigned many textbooks problems and hardly did examples on the board nor explained the materials properly. Like he expected us to know it right away. I have to get a tutor to at least understand what he's saying, and I had a 4.0. Not planning on taking a class from this professor again.

If you haven't taken Physics in High School than you'll probably be grasping for air by the third week of class. Homework takes several hours each week, but if you legitimately do it and take good notes etc. etc. you might walk out with a B. However, he is hilarious and upbeat, and really knows Physics well. Lets you use index cards on tests.

Quite possibly the best teacher ever, he doesn't mind explaining things, he always goes over problems you don't understand and go to the hw help sessions he will totally help you and you'll get a 100% on every hw assignment. you get note cards for the tests which are not that bad.. take taylor for anything and everything you can.

Dr. Taylor is a wonderful professor, even for those that slack off alot. Get to know him, he's a great guy. He is very helpful and will answer any questions that you have for him. He brings a fun learning environment to the classroom and makes physics easier to learn than other professors I've had. Overall great teacher, recommend any day.

Dr. Taylor is a great professor, but the physics class was really hard for me. There was a ton of homework on the online site. You don't need to buy the hard copy of the textbook because you can just use the one online and it's less expensive and you have to use it for homework and other stuff anyway. Dr. Taylor was always available for help.

He was a bit boring, straight down to the book kind of guy. And what I found upsetting was whenever I needed to ask him for help, he would turn sarcastic and tell me that I need to find it on my own. And that would be it, he wouldn't help me. Pretty awful! But astronomy is a very interesting subject so that made things easier.

The class itself was not too bad, quizzes each week, but overall material was pretty easy I thought. Dr. Taylor is awsome though, he explains things very well (even if it is very difficult) and he likes to have fun in class, he also doesn't believe in memorization, which is awsome!

Average teacher. Not very helpful, doesnt break down the material well enough. If you put in an A's worth of effort, expect a B, and so on. Homework is time consuming and you never get 100% and im good at math. ALOT of algebra, nothing more. Class requires effort and quiz every friday. Blah guy.

dont take his class. he wouldnt help you out when you needed it, and when it came to the observation projects he refused to help us. on the nights it was clear, he wouldnt do them, and then by the deadline he yelled at us for not having them done. its a waste of time...

Super easy, go to class, pay attention, take the quizzes, study a little, do well on the labs(which are easy A's if you just try) and you'll do fine. Some people are just lazy. Very nice, but will call you on your BS or if you're not paying attention.

Took this class w/o taking 111. LOTS of work. Project, quiz every friday (cant skip) and 3 tests + final. Lot of stuff to remember. He means well, but way too strict. You def get what you put into this class, take only if you want a challenge.
