He's a great teacher! His lectures are really interesting, but his tests are very difficult. If you don't like coming to class, you will not get an A. Don't worry if you don't do well on the tests, just focus on the online homework and quizzes, and do ALL of the extra credit opportunities, and you'll do well. I got 70s on all my tests, and got an A

Honestly, his tests are not that hard, if you have quizlet by your side. However, you probably wont learn as much. He is a bit unorganized and boring. But with that being said, he is not as bad as most people claimed, at least for ECN100A. You will probably ended up teaching yourself if you take him. Thankfully, our T.A. was great. Good luck.

the lectures are so confusing, i wonder if he really understands what he was talking about. Some of the homework questions are irrelevant to the lecture and some are the things he has not taught us, so i spend lots of time googling and reading the textbook.

He curves! Like huge curves, so bank on that. Make sure you show up to class and do the hw, he teaches you the material that's on the exams. He's funny and easy going so do your work and try your best and just hope your class is full of idiots.

Had this professor for two semesters, both macro and micro, and I can say that he is one of the best professors I've had. Show up on time, DO THE HW, be respectful, study for the exams and you'll do fine. Gives hilarious but relevant life stories to help give the lecture material a bit of life. Would recommend this professor for any econ class.

He gets all his lectures from the slides so you don't have to attend class. He has online homework and his tests gets harder as time goes on. His final exam was definitely harder than I expected. Overall, if you just read the book and do the homework you should do fine in the class.

Rosario is a nice guy and the curve seemed to me to be fair. This summer he changed the book and it includes the online program-myeconlab. Still expensive but not too bad. The book is wordy, but the online study plan is helpful. If you go to class and do your homework, you'll pass. And he is really helpful if you talk to him.

He's really not a bad prof. His lectures may be boring at times, but he uses clear examples and the subject is pretty straightforward to begin with. The exams weren't difficult if you understand the homework (which was mandatory). The class does come with a rather strict grading curve, but that has less to do with him than the Econ department's.

GREAT ECON1A PROF. People need to cut him a break and stop crying about their grade b/c the Econ department is responsible, not him. Crystal clear in lectures, the book is helpful, and Aplia is wonderful (despite the cost). If the first test is easy, he tends to make them harder. I like that b/c it separates the good students from the bad. TAKE HIM

Professor Rosario was a great teacher to take Microeconomics from as he made it a really easy subject to understand... the thing is you actually have to do the work! imagine that! If you do the work he is always willing to help and answer questions after hours if you need help. Over all I would give him an A+ as a teacher

Rosario is a harsh grader. His grading distribution is very strict. You will probably end up with a grade lower than you expected. His first exam is easy. The second exam and final exam are harder because the multiple choice sections. He did give homework assignments. His lectures are straight off the powerpoint slides. He is not organized at all.

Aplia is 70 bucks, on top of paying for a textbook, so this course is pretty expensive to take. On top of it being expensive, it was not an easy A, so I would recommend a different econ professor if you can to avoid the Aplia fee.

Brian is not lecture-type material. Lectures were pretty meaningless. You can just do everything based on the textbook. You need to pay 70$ for Aplia to do HW, but it does help your grade and understanding of the material. MTs are part multiple choice, and part free response. Final is like MT, but double the problems. This prof; not recommended.

He's a great lecturer and it's obvious he knows what he's doing. The examples were original but helpful in lectures and the tests were pretty easy if you pay attention in class. Sections are useless though except after the midterms. The textbook was very useful in my opinion but you had to take the initiative to use it.
