Never could view my grades, still don't know what I got on any of my assignments. Everyone has to conform to HIS writing style and if you don't then you are wrong. A huge majority of the class was group work which I hated. Rude and made inappropriate jokes.

Well...This class is tough if you dont actively take notes, pay attention, and participate don't expect to do very well. If you work you definitely will learn to write very good essays. The topic Film/Genre is a little abstract and boring so stick to it and you'll succeed. I got a B+ but this class is tough, if you want an easy a look elsewhere.

Always Be Concrete! He is a tough grader but a very passionate & helpful teacher, sometimes to the point where it's annoying. He can be kinda intimidating tho since his rules are very clear and concise. Definitely does make your writing better though!

I hate to be contrary, but my experience with this teacher was quite different. Always missing class, making things harder than they need to be, and worst of all trying to conform everyones style of writing to his. All an all a pretty miserable time.
