I was really nervous about taking this class because I'm sort of a klutz. Brian was an amazing teacher, he made us really understand the material and feel confident building scenery. I can build stuff!! Tech rocks!

Brian is the best professor I had at Oxy. He really knows his subject and teaches very clearly. He has a great deal of experience to draw from. His classes are tough, but you get a lot out of them. He really cares about his students.

Brian really knows his stuff and has been teaching tech theater for almost 20 years. He is very helpful, but you have to ask. He will make it painfully clear if he doesn't like you and can be a bit condescending. The memorization part of class was my least favorite, you literally have to know every piece of hardware and power tool in the shop.

Very interesting guy. Has lots of great, sometimes hilarious, stories. Definitely knows his stuff. He's tough though, so don't expect an easy A, you gotta earn it. He is always willing to help if you don't understand something.

Brian is a great teacher. The class is difficult, but if you study hard you will get an A. I didn't like lab, but class was fine. He will stop and go over anything you ask, and if you have any questions he will meet with you outside of class. I don't like tech, and alot of the class was hard for me, but with good studying and his help I got an A.

I liked this class, it was difficult and I learned a lot from it. He didn't hold back on giving difficult tests and he wasn't a pushover, he really kicked our asses and made sure we took his class seriously. Sometimes he was a jerk though, haha.

The practical portion of the class (actually making the sets) is great fun and experience. The only problem I had was that the exam was almost entirely vocabulary that may have been mentioned once in class.
