He is very laid back but he just stands there and talks and it is soooo boring and dry. The material is interesting but he doesnt have notes and basically everything is based on multiple books you have to read. He gives tests meant to be taken over an hour, in a 50 min period so it is hard to complete them, especially with the amount of material

He is a nice guy but the lectures are so dry and he will go off on tangents and you won't know if he's covering class material or not. Quizzes are online and don't allow for multiple attempts. Personally I didn't like the class but the tests were fair.

Super nice, funny guy. Stopped going to lectures half way through the semester and still got A's on tests. Quiz's are straight from the textbook and test questions are the quiz questions. Read/outline your textbook to study and there's no reason why you shouldn't get an A in this class.

Most of what you learn is through your own readings, which are not typically discussed/explained in class.

Professor Haley is a nice man and tries his best to make the class interesting. The material's a little dry and you definitely have to keep up with the readings to do well on the tests and quizzes. But he drops the 3 lowest quiz grades and will give you extra credit if you show up on days before a break. You can skip a decent amount of classes too.

The lectures were interesting but didn't really help for the exams and quizzes. Best bet is to 100% read and make outlines from the textbook. A lot of exam questions are repeated quiz questions. I love the dude. I was pregnant in his class and a commuter student. Couldn't make it to class much, but he was very willing to work on my time. 10/10.

Laid-back and personable. Likes to tell corny jokes during lecture, so if you're bored during them, at least embrace his awkwardness. Readings are required, as there are online quizzes with questions ripped straight out of them, making the textbooks mandatory. Gives out extra credit whenever there's a lot of absent students. Pretty cool guy.

Just read and do the study guides. All the test questions are from the study guides he gives you. Pretty lecture heavy, but you only need to go to class on video days.

UMMM okay so this was probably the worst professor I have ever had. Teaches you nothing but then tests you on 14 chapters and 3 videos, you have a quiz or two a week on 3-5 chapters each their online but you can't go back and change ur answer if you want which makes them really hard

Haley is a very nice teacher but the class is incredibly boring , get ready to read very long torturous readings. Haley goes on random rants that have absolutely no relevance to the material. Forget about studying from your notes, because there are virtually useless. I would never recommend this class.

Incredibly boring class, has quite a few readings (about 50ish pages per week) and a quiz per week. Four tests one of which is a noncumulative final, a good number of the questions are repeated quiz questions. Has quite a few opportunities for extra credit, one of which he gives out just for showing up to class when there aren't many present.

Most questions from online quizzes are used on the tests along with questions from videos during lectures and a few side notes, overall very fair exams.

The biggest thing with this class was the reading. He assigns a lot of readings every week and you have to do them to do well on the exams/assignments. He grades very fairly and give you a study guide and a full sheet of notes for the exam. Really nice guy and very passionate about what he does. It's a lot of work but not a bad class.

Pretty fair and easy class. There's like 4 tests. Online quiz every week, and only two assignments throughout the class. If you read the main book its super easy. He posts all the lectures online too.

This is an easy class if you show up, take notes and do the work. There are weekly online quizzes but if you skim the reading you'll be fine. Tests are kind of difficult, but if you study you'll do fine. Lectures can be dry at times, no one actually listens to what he rambles about during lecture.

This class is extremely hard for multiple reasons. He assigns a large amount of reading each week to go along with these hard quiz. he is also very monotone and boring which makes it very hard to go to class. I personally don't recommend this class at all

Take this class with a different teacher. it is so dry and painful to sit through. I had a hard time going to class because he was so monotone. there is a high amount of reading that you must do to be able to complete the quizzes and tests
