His class is pretty straight forward. You are assigned a paper, you write a rough draft, post it to a discussion board to peer edit, and then submit a final draft. There was a lack of communication. The only time we heard from him was on the first day of the course. We we're expected to keep up on all assignments on our own without any reminders

The guy grades pretty intensely so double check your papers before submission. He is very vague when giving feedback or helping with a question. Im taking it online so idk how he is in a classroom but i would never take this guy again. When he says you should read something, go read it.

Hes not a tough grader which is good. You dont have to show up to his class everyday but he will question you if you miss a lot so I highly suggest you show up and participate so he likes you. Theres about 5 essays in total. I went into this class thinking Ill do bad because writing isnt my thing but I got an A so I would recommend his class

Took this class online, and I didn't even buy the book. Readings weren't graded and I never once read any of the reading during this class. It is a lot of papers, but that's expected. He is a tough grader and doesn't really help much or respond to questions when asked. Following the rubrics is the best bet for this online class.

Does he hold your hand? No. Is he knowledgable and does he reward those who try? Absolutely. I really liked the guy, but he's not some teacher-friend like the other profs that want to be loved by heir students. He is there to teach and he does it well if you're not lazy. I would take him again any day.

Homework assignment required reading of essays from a book. I would read them 5 minutes prior to class and be able to discuss the essay in length with him. That was the only homework assignment. Grade was based purely on papers. Papers are usually 3-10 pages long. Participate so he likes you and he will likely boost your grade.

When asking why my paper got a B- his comments were that he my topic wasn't "fresh and interesting." Look pal, if you don't like the topics WE CHOOSE, give us a list to choose from! Then he said that my "comma usage was't top shelf!" His interpersonal skills aren't top shelf either. Advisor said lots of students have complained about him!

The layout for this online class was the most confusing thing I have ever seen in my life. The assignments were not clear cut whatsoever and no one knew where to go to even find what the assignments are... Multiple people posted asking what was due and we got no feedback from the teacher whatsoever. Don't take this class online with this guy!!!!!!!

Very easy overall. Easy grading but tends to change deadlines. Doesn't give much feedback. He's called me by the wrong name several times over email. Too much group editing for my tastes. I'd rather just submit a paper when it's due istead of having to write it twice.

He's okay. He's really fond of group projects- which can be a good or bad thing. Your only allowed to miss 3 classes (in class)- he's kinda awkward and he isn't really clear on what he wants- but he really knows what he is talking about. had him online for Great Books (good) and in class for Poetry (not good).
