Go to class for clicker points (important). Shes boring & can be rude in class. If shes in a bad mood, shell take it out on the class. Lectures dont help much. Read the textbook!! Exams are tough because all the answer choices are the same. Not very kind at office hours. Wouldnt take her again, personally. Not crazy complicated overall tho

Dr. Gretchen was such an amazing Psych Professor!! She taught the lessons very well and was always straight forward. I would recommend to always be prepared for class by reading the chapters and taking notes. The tests are easy if you study your textbook and go over the slides she put up.

Overall shes a very good prof and made the class interesting and easy to engage into. Her exams are only tough if you dont pay attention in class. Her curves are also very generous on the exams which helps a lot

Wonderful Professor. Her exams are decent if you just stick around for her lectures. Using clickers gives you an instant grade for exams. Take her fame she makes your life super simple while being entertaining. Shes also very nice and understanding. Great Professor overall.

This professor is so annoying. she makes us do group discussions like every week, which i absolutely hate. Like i honestly do not care to talk to other students in class. i would prefer to do my own work. She also gives us so many small unnecessary assignments to complete. Its so ridiculous, this class makes me feel like i'm in middle school

Very good professor, but the exams can be a little challenging if you don't study/pay attention. Her curves are very generous and she answers emails fast. She drops the lowest exam score which really helps in the end. She also gave extra credit.

Great prof. She knows her stuff and will answer your emails pretty quick. Her exams alittle hard but the curves are crazy, should aleast get a B+, make sure to read the text book before the exams. she drops the lowest grade of exams

Prof. Van De Valle attempts her best to make sure all her students pass. Gives extra credit, tons of online assignments, and curves the test based on the class average. However, the exams are difficult, and she seems to be very unapproachable. Take at your own risk!

Dr. Van de walle is just purely amazing. I took her for intro 102 and I got an A. She will offer you a lot to learn and she is super passionate about her subject. Incredibly smart lady! I really enjoyed my first semester at RU. Take all her courses. You won't regret it.

I love this professor ! She is probably the best psych professor I've ever had. She is very passionate about her teaching and you will not get bored. Just amazing professor ! You will learn a great deal from dr. Van de walle.

Hard to approach outside of the classroom. Be sure to use the power points to your advantage, has useful information. But you should buy the book, she doesn't go over the modules in detail. Requires a clicker for the class, she uses it to calculate points towards your participation. Has a bit of an attitude and makes that class feel never ending.

Great Psych Professor. Amazing and clear power points which she posts. She assigns four exams and drops the lowest grade. She also posts review questions before the exam to help you out. Very interesting and makes it easy to learn!

Rude and unorganized. A major attitude problem. She reads directly off the powerpoint. If you can avoid taking any class with this professor do it. I did good in the class because I study. This professor should not be around students.

This professor is very unorganized, and seems to like taking large amounts of points off of essential assignments for very little reason. While the information of this class is not the hardest I have ever seen she is very mean, and will not help you in any way at all.

Comment:

She's a great instructor, very clear, and will answer questions ensuring everyone understands the material. She does not tolerate any type of disruption such as talking in class. As an Adviser she may come off as though shes not helpful, but I found that you have to ask the right questions. She may seem intimidating, but she's approachable.
