The course didn't really fit the course description but it was interesting. No one in the class seemed to enjoy it as much as I did. A few online tests that the textbook helped with, a few hefty but simple assignments and exam was tough but cheat sheet was allowed.

I really enjoyed my classes that I had with Brian. I took two courses with him the one listed&COST 162) and really enjoyed both of them. Prior to taking those classes I had little interest in Computer Science/Studies..2nd year I will be taking another credit of computer studies thanks to him! He is overall a great guy and is really funny!!

Not the greatest lecturer, but knows his stuff more than you'd guess from his lectures. Super helpful, often flexible with deadlines, and pretty funny and knowledgeable if u get a chance to chat with him. Really nice guy.

Another great prof and all around great guy. Fabulous sense of humour. Brian understands absurd numbers game that is university & is less concerned with grades than whether or not you learned something. He leans towards towards the philosphical. Who knew there were so many great ideas in Comp. Sci.

Very Boaring. All he did was talk from the Overhead projector slides. Kept me to sleep. Did not do any kind of Interaction with the students. Over all he was Ok. His First test was a surprise to all of us. All the questions was new to us rather that what was tought in class.
