I've taken him twice now. Once in Math 35 and now in Geometry. Both classes are great. He's definitely good at what he does and makes sure everyothing is as clear as possible. Very helpful. Gives PLENTY of time for studying and gives review exercises for each exam. HIGHLY suggested.

Took the class online. Hard subject, but Mr. Johnson is fairly helpful. He's nice to his students, and takes feedback well. Takes a little time to respond to questions. He uses MyMathLab (an extra $80), which means he doesn't have to actually teach the class himself. Don't buy the book if you take it online - there's an e-version w/MyMathLab.

I took him Online and this was a very easy class. You can do the homework over until you get 100% on everyting. If you miss or forget a test he will normally re open it. Very understanding, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Very easy to understand. Out of the two math teachers I had at RCC, he was the better one. Class got boring at times- but hey, it's math ;). Very informative and professional. I would take him again.

(Online-summer)This Class was great! i don't really care for math, but he made it easy to understand. well organized. he gets back to you right away. lots of work. must do all homework. test at the end of each chapter. no mid-term. he didn't have us take our final because we got behind due to website maintenance. best math teacher i ever had.

His notes are VERY detailed and organized, his tests are based on the example problems from the notes, and HW is extra credit. if you pay attention its a fairly easy class. He passes out practice tests before real tests.
