Never had such a great teacher. he knows the subject and makes it very clear and interesting when he's teaching. I wish I had him in high school. He really is one of the best at UP.

He is a bit dry, but he is very clear and lets you use the "cheat sheet" on every test. The amount of topics covered in the class can be overwhelming at times, but he emphasizes that we do not need to memorize.. just be able to identify what type of problem we are working with and then reference the cheat sheet for the formula.

Great prof, explains concepts really well. he is definitely old school, however (addresses us as Mr or Ms) and this may put some folks off. If you show him you care he will go all out for you. If you show him you don't ... you get the picture!

Some may like him and think he is great but he wouldn't help me at all. He is not understanding or patient with those who dont understand the material right away and just lets us fail pretty much. If you arent good at math or learn slowly, I would recommend taking Dolor, not McKenna.

I disagree with the previous entry. Prof McKenna is one of the few math profs who make us learn how to do stat problems "by hand" before teaching us how to use TI stat programs. He just makes it so clear it must seem too easy to some folks. great teacher.

If you don't want to understand the what's behind any of the concepts and want an easy class to help your GPA he's the stats prof to go with.

He is very "too the point". He doesn't try to explain the history of the equation or anything that you dont need to know. This is how you do it, here are the equations and now do it. He is very careful on how he presents the materials and emphasizes things that we need to know very very well.

Insists you actually understand and be able to explain operations. At first this is a pain but it really does make you learn the material. I learned more from him than any other math teacher. He cares about his students and is always willing to help.

Outstanding professor. He explains concepts clearly and really tries to help students understand material. If you make an honest effort he will go out of his way to help. Generally an easy grader but if you don't work or show any interest he will nail you.

Really easy class. Sometimes explained things harder than they really were. Tests are really easy if you can recognize info in word problems and can recognize what formula to use. He used words like titifly and **** whale and plane crashes a lot in his examples
