Ok so let's start by saying he's a good guy, he tries to make things funny and interesting but regardless of what he says it's a math class. Lab and class do not coorelate . The subject itself sucks badly . Average on test / exams were low. Didn't get as many class activities as promised , was unsure of grade most of semester bc of disorganization

AT U of CINCINNATI Dr. B is a super nice guy. Really cares about his students and tries his best to relate. Sometimes I feel his jokes get in the way of actual content we should be learning. He just moved to Cinci so he was a bit disorganized at first but that seemed to straighten out throughout the semester. Definitely wants everyone succeed!

Cool class. By far the best and most organized online class I've ever taken. And he made me feel like a hero! Keep up with your reading and watch all the videos and you will do fine. Lots to do, but it is all very interesting. Thanks Dr. B!

Now that I'm graduating, I'm reflecting on my past professors. Metcalf is the best one in the psych dept. I didn't think his stats class would be the best and most important class I would take, but it was. If you can, make sure you take it with him. You will learn a lot and be ready for everything coming your way. Great prof!

I took PSY100 only, and it was pretty easy. Watch videos, read the book, take the test at the end of the week and you will pass. Not much to it at all. I was worried about online classes, but this one was a breeze. 10/10 would Zimbardo again.

Amazing professor! his course is great and brings out fun in psychology. He has weekly quizzes, which aren't too bad as long as you studied (videos, powerpoint, book, etc). There is also a project, which replaces an exam score (don't know if it will change), that I enjoyed. Overall, his course was great! Took it online but I definitely recommend!

Absolutely loved this class! Reading the textbook helped a lot with the material, but I found it to be really interesting. The lectures can be a bit long at times, but it's worth the time for the information. I found this class and the professor to be really inspirational and I will think about this course long after I have graduated.

Took this class online. Dr. Metcalf posts very interesting videos as well as videos of himself explaining the material. Quizzes after every lecture which aren't that bad just watch the online lectures and powerpoints and you will pass. Was my favorite class this semester even though it was online.

Really nice professor. Lectures are kind of boring sometimes since we just watch videos. The quizzes are easy but you have to read a lot. Exams are not really tough but you have to cover a lot of material if you want a A!

One of the best at HPU. Really cares about students and wants them to succeed. Not as funny as some of the other psych profs, but I'm not not paying for jokes. Several of the dumb girls in class gave him a hard time. Don't listen to what they say about him.

I highly recommend Metcalf. Best class and professor I've had! Great enthusiasm. He knows famous psychologists which makes you feel connected to the topics. I gave him a 5 for easiness, because he makes it perfectly clear how you can excel. It won't be easy though if you don't do the weekly reading and work or go to class.

This professor had an impact on me changing my major. He is awesome. My class met once a week on Monday nights. In place of other classes, he made videos lectures on YouTube and put them on the class website for us to watch. That way we can watch when we want. It is a nice vibe between an online class and all in class.

Great prof! Great class! Dr. B is very enthusiastic and is the nicest guy. More interested in students well being than any prof I know.
