Great professor. The test are difficult but study your notes and you'll be fine. This class was easy for me because I took AP US history in highschool so it is basically a review. Anyways, this class is just a review from senior year history. 4 test, 2 debate papers. Very passionate about history!

Comment:

Professor seiling knows how to make history interesting. He is really funny and ties his humor into his lectures which really helped me pay attention and memorize things. He connects with students and makes you feel comfortable in his class, a great learning environment.

This is one of the best professor I have ever had. He really cares about his students and goes out of his way to make great lectures. He doesn't just make you read out of the book and gets right to the point in his lectures. Wish I could take him for all my history classes. You won't regret his class and life changing.

Prof. Seiling was one of the best professors that I had at cypress so far. You will not regret taking his class. He may seem intimidating at first but he is a super chill dude, also very funny. Tests are not that bad at all, just remember to study the study guides he gives and take good lecture notes! He cares about his students ALOT.

Prof. Seiling is hilarious & keeps the class entertained for sure. History isnt my best subject so I wouldnt say its an easy class but he for sure makes it easier! Super laid back, and caring for all students!

History isn't my best subject but Professor Seiling makes this class so enjoyable! He's hilarious and probably one of my favorite professors I've taken here at Cypress. He really cares about his students. You'll be fine as long as you do all your assignments and go over his study guides! :)

Brian has been the best professor I've had here at Cypress. His lectures are amazing and he's so funny. The homework is online. Its very easy. The test are tricky but manageable. He is very approachable if you have any questions and concerns. I passed with a B. If you work hard you can get an A though.

So far Professor Seiling is one of the best professors I have had thus far! He is hilarious! If you are not very interested in History, Bryan makes history do-able to learn. Although, he is lecture heavy, and if you miss class, you will miss notes and crucial info. Another thing is he gives a lot of opportunity to keep your grade up! Awesome guy!

There's so much I can say about Prof. Seiling! He is hilarious which made class enjoyable. He is passionate about history. He is respected mainly because he is straightforward. AND opinionated but never offensive. When he gets mad/disappointed he goes on "I don't care" mode and that's not good.

I love the history classes with professor Sailing! I am a ESL student and I took two history classes with him because he is so funny! I heavily recommend students to take his classes. Their classes are really enjoyable!!

I hate history and was enrolled in this class twice before. This guy made me want to go to class. I actually passed! He was very helpful outside of class and went over many questions with me. This was a good way to check off a GE course.

Professor Selling is a great professor I love his lecture but this class is so hard there out side of class essay read taking side his test are super hard you need to study hard for his class missing class can hurt your grades his grading are very tough but he want you learn and pass the class

A great teacher! He's absolutely hilarious, but he knows his stuff too. He'll make you think and challenge your opinions, but isn't that what College is all about? Be sure you attend lectures and do the lab. Don't try to BS him and he'll go out of his way to help you.

Professor Seiling is simply AMAZING! I loved his class and looked forward to lectures every week. He is very fair and gives his students exactly what they need to succeed on a test. You do have to pay attention during lectures but if there is something you do not understand, ask him!

This professor is a tough grader and very opinionated. He cusses non-stop during his lectures which gets very annoying and is completely un-called for during the lectures. His bad language negatively affects the historical view point and events you learn about in this class. He gives great lecturers if you can follow his pace.

He is a very opinionated person, which I did not appreciate. He is a very great lecturer however! He openly cusses and throws his opinions around the classroom which is fine at first, but it starts to get annoying after a while. The material itself was fine though.

Comment:

So, as usual, the textbook comes with the lab so you need the textbook but I didn't use it once. The class is straight forward, lectures, quizzes, exams and 2 debate papers. Keep the progress of the lab up it counts as a huge part of your grade. He's very funny and understanding. Makes history fun. :)
