Dr. Thapa reads from the powerpoint so lectures can be boring at times but he includes a lot of examples from his own work and research. His exams are mainly based off of the powerpoints. Would recommend at least reading the chapters at least once. Dr. Thapa also gives exra credit every once in a while, usually when people don't show up to class

Professor Thapa is the best! His class lectures are so interesting. You should read the book but the majority of the test comes from lectures. Attend class because he gives points for in-class assignments. Tests aren't bad if you attend class and take notes.

lectures are boring. he basically reads straight from the powerpoint slides. don't need to buy the book. just study the slides and go to class. gives in class assignments, particularly when no one is there. overall nice guy, easy class!

Tests are fine as long as you go and barely pay attention. Lots of "bonus" for "class participation" (meaning going and writing at most a paragraph for participation.) If you get less than a "C" then maybe you should consider changing your major from recreation :)!

His tests are tricky but if you study his notes you can get at least a C easy. Ask him on questions you are unsure of after test, will give you the answer.try not to miss class a lot cause will give bonus point assignments to people that go to class. cool guy. lecture can be boring at times but easy enough class. Got a B in the class

Boring lectures, very uninteresting! His tests are hard, picks out the littlest detail and asks about it, so know info. well. Also, only takes attendance and does assignments when most of the class is gone, such as Football Game weekends, spring break etc.
