As soon as you see the name Brigid Frein on your schedule, RUN!! I have been taking bible since the age of 5 and she makes me second guess everything. She gives an assignment which is usually 2 pages and an all essay quiz every week. Her class consists of her rambling and getting off topic for an hour and a half. DO NOT TAKE.

She goes against everything you ever thought you knew about the bible, and makes everything drag. The time I spend in class is the biggest wast of time, and the work is insane. I spend more time on this class' work than I do on my major classes. I still did well because I really put in the effort, but get ready for hours of work! DROP THIS LADY!

She gives a large amount of reading every night for homework. She doesnt know how to use technology but stills try to must assignments on D2L and we always have trouble accessing assignments. Class time is boring smwe spend the whole class going over homework. IF CAN AVOID HAVING HER!!!

Very tough- large volume of work but she drops two lowest assignments. If you work hard and actually read and participate shouldn't be too hard. Be prepared to have a lot of work outside of class, in class is not too much work. Just be sure to answer a few questions and participate!

No reasonable with attendance. Nice woman, just very tough grader. Feels more like a major's class rather than intro to theo. Lecture heavy. Quiz/ paper EVERY weel, but they're graded the same which is unfair. Try and take someone else, but she's not horrible. She is a nice woman who cares about the subject, but she isn't realistic.

She assigns lengthy & unnecessary assignments every week, only for you not to get feedback for months because she can't keep up with the grading. In doing these assignments, you are not allowed to use sources outside of the bible, except for the ones that she provides that align with her belief system. I wish that RMP would allow me to type more...

This is the most challenging class I have ever taken! Beware! expect late nights with your Bible! She assigns tough assignments that are due every week. Make friends with the smart fellow disciples in your class! They will help you pass this class! Also, participation is key! It's 30% of your grade. Its also a good idea to switch out of this class.

Professor Frein was the best professor I have ever had!!!! She is a hard teacher, but that is because she loves to challenge her students. She was always available to help her students. She made learning fun and interesting! Grew as a student and a person from this course!

I have taken religion classes my entire life and I have never had a teacher as bad as her. Her disorganized lectures and unclear assignments make surviving her class impossible. This class consumes your time and will make keeping up with your other classes' work load extremely difficult. AVOID at all costs, this class is not worth the headaches.

Seriously one of the hardest classes I have ever taken. You have essays every week and they take hours. I am an A student but she gave me a C. She hands out F's and D's with no problem whatsoever. She will look over your work ahead of time, but even when you change the paper to how she wants it, she will give you a B-. Never taking again

We have her for an Intro to Bible Class and she expects use to do a ridiculous amount of reading, grades extremely harshly and most likely deludes herself into thinking we're all theology majors. Easy A! All you have to do is READ THE BIBLE and ANNOTATIONS, PAY ATTENTION in class, and PARTICIPATE in class discussions and you're set. 1 essay every week, 2 pages typed, did them the morning they were due and got an A or B+, you are allowed to revise 2 essays and drop 2 of ur worst grades, or skip 2

Honestly, this is the worst class! Do not take her. She does not stay on track with our current readings. She backtracks a lot which can mess you up for that week's assignment. This also results in you getting told that you shouldn't be attending a university. Do not take her class!

Very hard class. Have to devote countless hours to it every day. Either a hard quiz or paper every week. Helpful though if you want her to read your papers before handing them in, she will read it and tell you if you're heading in the right direction. Likes when you participate. If you work hard you'll get a good grade.
