Took class because it is mandatory for my math major. Class material is not bad but expect a lot of work. You have a lab every week, long homework assignments each week, and he likes giving quizzes often. He is often not clear on what he is writing on the board. Not a bad professor by any means but too much work. DO NOT TAKE AS ELECTIVE FOR MINOR.

He really understands math, if you ever have a question go to his office hours or just ask he is very helpful. Digresses too much with his "culture" but it keeps the class interesting. Tip: Do all the homework, especially from the book. Bukiet makes the commons and he takes the problems straight out of there.

He is a mathematical genius. He has really studied math in his day, and it shows in his teaching. He is also a very funny guy, as he tells jokes daily.He gets down to business during exams though, as he really expects the student to work at these times. He will review the day before an exam, but will only answer questions asked by students. A+ Prof

He is a good professor. You learn in class, and he will help you if you have questions. He lets you take a small break which is very helpful, and he enlightens the room. Everyone can get along with him easily. He will make or give you last semester's exams to study from. They helped a lot since he was the coordinator for math commons.

all he does it tell jokes and not teach math. will "culture" you for half the class and rush through the material the last half of the class. no time to ask questions. he goes so teaches very quickly. I could not learn anything in class and had to learn everything on my own. dont let the high notes fool you, avoid him at all costs/

what a joke this guy was.talks off topic for an hour and then tries to teach the last 30 minutes of class. because of this he rushes through problems and its difficult to learn. he also doesn't review for exams and its all up to you to review. avoid him at all costs people just rate him high because he keeps you entertained not because he can teach

Dr. Bukiet is a really cool guy, and he is very excited about what he does. He has lots of energy, and cares that you make it to class. If you oversleep he will send someone to wake you up. He's a great teacher and fairly easy to learn from. He knows what he is talking about, and he really wants his students to learn.

Bukiet is a superb math teacher. He's funny, crystal clear and helpful. At times he will go fast, but if you ask him to he will slow down and explain better. Excellent at answering students' questions: I don't think he has missed one. The tests are pretty difficult but that's the math department's issue.

He is hot!!!!!! jk, lol. He is a very cool, good, helpful and (all positive adj.). I really like his math tricks, and he even teaches us how to understand those tricks. However, the class is not easy. He will give pop quizes like once a while. but, he is a very good teacher!!!

The "culture" prevents your brain from overloading on math halfway through the class. Show up to class on time because he keeps track of attendance. Known to give pop quizzes. Show all work on his tests or expect to lose points. Prof. Bukiet is a good, clear, and informative professor.
