Bruce is SIMPLY awesome! he's always there to help but just don't interupt him, lol Unfortunately I took SOC270 as a compressed course in summer and didn't get more time to take it all in. He's a "love him" or "hate him" kinda guy and a lot of ppl just don't get his style. My advice is to read your stuff be on time and know that an A is possible!!

He will make you laugh out loud unwillingly. He is one of the funniest profs you'll ever have. He swears more than Ron Tarr(for my fellow comp. sci. students) if you can believe it. It was an easy class that was made even easy by a great teacher.
