He is quite condescending especially to international students. His sarcasm is directed to gauge your IQ. His classes can be quite tough for the uninitiated. But do well on his projects or assignments and he will take notice of you.

He knows the stuff, but sometimes isn't very specific and seems a little condescending at times. Programming assignments are VERY time consuming, so start early. Pretty lenient with partial credit, but will nail you for spelling/grammar on the reports. Read ahead in the book and you'll get a lot more out of this class.

He's not easy, but not impossible. Makes class as interesting as he can. Lots of theory, but application examples as well. If you do the work, you'll understand the material. Understand the material, and you'll get a good grade.

Excellent professor. Explains stuff very well. The class was relatively boring (not his fault, it's just that sorting algorithms are not that exciting). His only downside is poor handwriting, so notes are a little hard to take.
