Comment:

Best professor I have ever had. An absolute genius in all subjects and relates everything back to sustainability. Very mellow and mindful. Gives good feedback, is always willing to help, and is clear in explaining even the most difficult of subjects. We need more people like Bruce in the world. A true scholar and master of sustainability!

He is an amazing person and professor. He knows a lot about Sustainability and you can tell he is really passionate about it and his students. He always has a smile on his face and says the funniest things during his lectures . A lot of reading is required and guides that you have to turn in with them. He doesn't count off if they're a little late.

Bruce is an amazing and inspirational instructor. He clearly knows what he is talking about, and it is obvious that he cares that he contributes to his student's knowledge. As noted before, I also learned alot and grew as a person in this class. If there will be any true change in the SUST dept. Bruce will be the one to make them. Thank you Bruce!

Bruce was very attentive, involved and supportive during this class. He was fun to talk to, had many interesting topics to teach us about, and really inspired me in my studies and ultimately in my career path. Very passionate about keeping the world beautiful. I would say that he is one of my favorite professors ever. Thanks Bruce, you're the best!

Bruce is pretty clearly a brilliant scientist. he publishes scholarly work, and he cares a lot about the subjects he teaches. He's really spaced out, isn't a listener. Have some great conversations with him but avoid his classes

Best professor ever!!! Duper helpful and nice. If you can't deal with tests not being multiple choice (a.k. You can't think for yourself) don't take this professor. But if you actually want to learn something, this is your guy!

RUN! If he's the only professor teaching, take it a different semester. All complaints are valid. He says he wants to help but doesn't show up for HIS office hours - skews data, arrogant, can't teach - if you want to learn or pass please do yourself the favor and TAKE SOMEONE ELSE. Worst professor ever.

No adherence to syllabus. A culminating project for Earth Day has yet to get under way due to wasted time on irrelevant lectures (today is 4/5). Highly disorganized. Chaotic class. No WebCT use. Assignment to critique his personal manuscript. Need I say more?

This guy seemes SO promising... until it comes time for assessment. If you find problems with his questions he wont step down even if he will admit you are right. I pointed out a critical mathematical and conceptual flaw in his optimization curves and he admired I was right, but refused to give me credit for it... Fools and their pride.

I didn't learn anything from this guy. He used a lot of specific examples and expected you to remember everything about them rather than focusing on concepts or ideas that might actually be useful. Most of the class did poorly, but he didn't care and refused to curve. To top it off he was arrogant and unapproachable. Even the TA's hated him.

This professor is completely useless. His tests are unfair and very hard and he is unhelpful when asked questions. He will read a question back to you if you ask for clarity on a test. I suggest taking another professor. Most people in his class did very poorly and it wasn't because they didn't know what they were doing...

Extremely smart! Works well with students but don't bother with e-mails. Fair grader and good lecturer. Ask questions!!! Office hours are best way to talk outside of class. Great overall. Ask him about sustainability.
