Wendy is great teacher and you learn a lot from her. She is quick in answering the emails and questions/sometimes can be confusing but when you ask again she'll explain. Easy grader/a lot of work but if you are not ready for homework don't go to college. Take her she is great

Confusing and complains that she doesn't understand why you don't understand something. Way too many papers and discussion boards. Would NEEVER take another class with her unless I had to. She's a nice lady, but not a very good teacher.

I took the online blend course. You need to be up to date, it gets very seious if you fall behind. She is pretty quick on answering questions and may not be very clear on the answers. This blend course is all about the journal. Keep uup the journal then you'll be fine.

I almost did not take this class because of the ratings I read on here. I am currently taking this class and I can honestly say Dr. Mertes is really nice and helpful person. There are a lot of projects, but if you do them they are easy. You just can't be lazy. Her exams aren't bad at all. I highly recommend her to anyone in ece!

Incredibly rude,unclear and unpredictable. Goes through numerous mood swings during the course of a class period. Don't ask questions-because she will get defensive since she has no knowledge about anything she talks about or expects from her students. The only reason I got an A was because the class is easy.

I wouldn't take her again. It's an unstructured class, it doesn't even cover what will be on the tests. The tests are hard. She doesn't answer questions. She is rude at times and doesn't care. She is usually an easy grader but she can be really tough sometimes. She ALWAYS talks about her grandkids its annoying. She gets mad if you don't go to class
