He is a nice guy but his lectures and lab are BORING. He rambles on and wastes almost an hour every lab and he just reads the slides during lecture. He gives you half the test but its still not super easy.

Labs are nothing but drawing. His lecture is easy, but you must memorize things. He doesn't teach at all. He mostly rambles. Great guy, but he has clearly lost his passion and has gotten lazy. Test questions come right out of the book ver batim.

Wow, what a great prof. Teaches right out of the book, so tests and quizzes are easy. But if you are stuck on a subject he is always there to help. Funny as hell too, never had I had so much fun in a class. Though I noticed the people who whine about him are the same people who don't study for class or care about their grades.

i loved dr. smith! Lectures aren't very interesting, but he's such a nice old man! attendance is not mandatory. Tests are somewhat difficult, but he does curve. if you're not a bio major, i wouldn't recommend the course though.

This class is an easy A if you study. 60% of the points on each test are from the quizzes and open ended questions in the text book. Lecture can be boring and the notes are online anyway so many people don't go to class. The lab drawings and quizzes are an easy A and most of the practical you memorize from previous practicals.

hands down, the easiest science class i've ever taken. lectures can be very boring but he keeps you awake with his jokes. study what he tells you to and you'll get an A. you'll have no problems if you can memorize things. there are a lot of tests (7) but he does that so people keep up with the class. outside walks were fun. take as mini-mester.
