Lectures are a little dry, but sometimes he surprises with a out-of-this-world analogy. My classmates were joking about the "Pacman with a stick up its butt" years after his class. Hard grader, but willing to help you if you come in to ask for help.

I'm sure Telzer really is a nice guy, but his lectures seem to go so far in depth so fast that you don't have time to figure out the basics first. I took AP Bio and can barely keep up, I don't know how people without the AP can manage. He also seems to lack a sense of humor.

telzer was an amazing prof. not only is he incredibly intelligent...but he is also rather warm (despite his seemingly intimidating demeanor). his lectures were clear and engaging...and labs were fun :). this was by far the best class i took at pomona.
