Took him for compOrg and compArch. Hard classes, you will be challenged and you probly will have to study. He's a cool guy though, explains concepts thouroughly, often excruciatingly so. He's very smart, he knows a metric-shit-ton about how computers work. I reccomend, but be ready to go to class, and put in some time studying for tests.

His class is very boring, especially at 8 in the morning, but he helps you if you have any questions. The assignments are shown to you with examples and the web notes help a lot. He does not take attendance but it is important to go to the classes other wise you do miss a lot of information. Overall- a good teacher.

The class wasn't very difficult, as long as you did assignments, which weren't very difficult either. Sometimes he went over the information a little fast, but, he was always really helpful when you asked him questions and was always open for questions and willing to help. I enjoyed taking his class.

He is a nice person but he is so boring. If your not one of those people who already knows everything about computers, you are going to be lost!!!!! Plus he piles a ton of homework on you at the end of the semester. Very had to keep up with his assignments and all of your other classes.

Don't take an 8 AM class with this guy. Definetly a bad idea. Bring your laptop too, cause you'll be surfing the internet pretty fast, or wanting to at least. He does help quite a bit if you go in and ask him for help, though.
