He's a tough grader but a very good teacher. If you are interested in an easy A, he's not for you, but if you actually want to learn you should definitely take his classes.

Han can be a bit hard to understand, yes, but he was extremely helpful when I expressed interest in learning programs not covered in DES 220. He expects large amounts of work and near-perfection from his students, he pushes them to do their best. His classes are hard, but most likely you'll produce excellent work because of it.

a lot of work, but you learn a lot and come out with nice stuff- a class that will really prepare you for the REAL world- the real work makes you put in some time and work on stuff,- so yeah, it's a bit time-consuming, but well worth in in the end-

He is very hard, but if you put in time its cool. You will get alot of good work for your portfollio. I would serious suggest him if you want a class that makes good examples for your portfollio

I don't think Han is sufficient as an advisor or as a professor. He is very concrete sequential so if it's not on paper it doesn't exist. I've gone to him with questions for my major and not gotten adequate help. In class, he'll send you to a web site or a book instead of giving you his help or exam
