The guy doesn't care about his students. You don't have to go to class, you should try to do the problems, He has a HUGE scale so it's not really a big deal if you get a good grade on his exams. I never went to class and got a B-, got below a 60 for all the exams and got a B seriously! His exams are multiple choice

READ + OUTLINE the book, then go to the AEC reviews and with the scale, you will do good! Class is pointless because you can't read his handwriting and he does not explain things well at all. Can't get in touch with him, no office hours and doesn't answer e-mail. Instead of class, just read the book and the tests will be fine!

Really boring class. No need to attend lecture, read the book and do the problems at the end of the chapter. Smart guy but can't teach and isn't really willing to help students.

Very nice guy but has been teaching this course way too long. Lectures are confusing. Use the textbook to learn-it's easy to understand and do the end of chapter problems and you'll pass the exams. All exams are multiple choice and the lowest gets dropped. Compared to CHM 227 (adult orgo) it's a piece of cake. There's also a huge scale!

The material isn't that hard. The teacher just doesn't know how to clarify it to the students. He won't stay to help you either. read the chapters instead of taking his notes... his notes will confuse you. and just DO THE PROBLEMS. because thats exactly how the exam is set up. if you can do the problems at the end of the chptrs you'll do good.

The man is smart...he went to MIT. But theres a time when you gotta throw in the towel...or the bowling announcer microphone, and realize your not getting the point across anymore. Stick to reading the book and taking notes and you can do great in the class. Review sessions by AEC are very helpful.

The way to pass this class with a good grade is by reading the chapters and going to the help sessions at the AEC in Roosevelt. They make all the difference. He's very difficult to understand but if you ask him for help he will help you.

A nice enough guy but needs to retire. Reads from his hand-written notes (that I often could not read) taken directly from the book. If you take notes from the book and do the problem exercises you can skip the class. If you struggle with chemistry do not take a class from this professor.

Super Easy class if you learn it out of the Book. If you get an old test you will have almost the same questions. I stopped going after the first test and got a A. Just study from the book his rambling is not worth the 45 of pain to sit though it.

BARF. <--that is what you do when you take this class. Can't read the overheads, can't understand him from the mumbling to the assuming-you-know-everything-already. His exams don't reflect anything. In fact, I don't know if they're even chemistry questions. TERRIBle. You have to sit down with the book and do-it-yourself.
