When I first was taking lessons (forgot class number) he was pretty civil to me, as he is with MOST students. Believe me - this changes very quickly. If you don't improve very rapidly he blames you (never the grad student who teaches you freshman year) and starts telling you to change majors. Never be in Chiefs, either.. sorry music ed majors...

I didn't like him the first year, but then I got used to him and I could learn from him. He is uncomfortable around decent looking girls. He doesn't have time for people that suck on trumpet. He isn't eloquent at all, but he isn't stupid. He has high standards, and most people can't live up to them, so they think it is his fault.

He was horrible and didn't care about any of the students except for the ones he directly taught. Also hated girls unless you were the best one on the trumpet. Made me switch my major, if I never see him again, I won't complain.
