Best teacher in the masters program. I love that you can get a good grade while still learning a lot. Not stressful. He's funny as hell. class passes by quickly

He writes everything you need to know for the test on the board, all you have to do is go over your notes and you'll get an A.. No book needed for his in-person class. Definitely recommend taking him, he makes the class fun.

Fun Teacher and makes the material very easy. You will not need a book because he only cover things that are gong to be on the exams. He writes on the board every thing that you know. Everybody can walk away with a A+ and learn a lot. Class is not boring which makes it easier to get the grade you want. Come to class for notes

Best professor i've ever taken! Wish there were more professors who were as emphatic as he is. Class doesn't feel like "class." Discussion is obligatory, although that might seem daunting, it really isn't with the way discussions pan out.

Pesta made the material palatable and easy to understand. He was also hilarious and easy going. I enjoyed this class most and got the most out of it.

As the sun sets and you realize that it's 6pm and dark outside, this professor makes you forget about your bad day. With his sarcasm and his smart remarks and his way of teaching makes the students forget about their selfish over and makes you as a student focused on the learning material. I wish he offer d teaching more classes. Best professor yet

Bryan Pesta is the slightly sarcastic and extremely honest ray of sunshine that students need! His feelings about the subject matter are transparent, but don't let that fool you; he is able to make even what he calls "the boring stuff" interesting. He's flexible with students and welcomes in class participation. His is the class I'd hat to miss.

He told us to get on here and give him the 'chili pepper' haha! Really funny and down to earth guy! He really tries to make class interesting and usually succeeds! I really feel like i'm learning this material and it will stick with me throughout my career when I graduate. His teaching methods are more 'old school' but they work! Great Professor!!

I took this as a summer class which is never fun, but Bryan was an excellent professor. No book needed. Show up to class, pay attention and take notes. Seems like all classes should be like that! Made the class funny and interesting and everything I learned will stick with me.

I love Bryan, I always look forward to his lecture. He's funny and knowledgable and I have never been absent to his class. I like him a lot, he has a great great great sense of humor. He makes the lecture so fun you won't feel time passing. His questions arebl only from the lecture notes and what he writes on the board. Clear and direct questions.

I took this course in summer 15. It was pretty straight forward and easy. The professor writes every sentence on the board and expects us to take notes. Exam questions are from his notes. MGT 601 is not a tough subject and is a very good course to take online since the contribution from the professor is very minimal. I would rate him average.

He's funny and cool. Make sure to write down everything he writes on the chalkboard. You will be tested on it. His test will also have questions on things that he won't write down, but will say in an off-topic conversation. I.E., he will explain an example, but won't write down that example down and it will pop up on a test. His test are tricky.

Class consists of quiz worth 10% of your grade and three tests worth 30% of your grade. Take him if you are a good test taker. If not, this will be hard work. Literally write down every word he says and memorize it. Anything he says, you may be tested on. If you really want an A, talk to him in private. He gives a little grade boost at the end.

One of the best professors I have ever had. Has an old school teaching style (just chalk and chalk board no slides or use of Blackboard) and teaches from the top of his head. You will not need the book if you attend class but I don't know why you wouldn't attend. I just wish he taught more than one class. Would definitely take again!

He is awesome. Don't need the book. lectures are funny and straight to the point. Loved this class. Wish he taught other management courses. I got a "B" only because I would show up 25 mins late every week trying to find parking. Advice: be on time and take notes.

Comment:

Dr. Pesta was organized, clear and a good lecturer. His exams were based on notes from his lectures, so it's crucial to attend class, which is not at all painful since he has a good sense of humor and is engaging. We didn't refer to the textbook at all, but it might be useful for someone who is unfamiliar with the topic.
