I would gladly take any class with Dr. Peretti, he is a great professor, but this class is sooo boring. Its a good thing they are removing this class. Peretti is extremely helpful with essays and is always available during office hours.

Not the most interesting class, but there's not too much you can do about the subject material; historical research is dry. He does his best to make it interesting and relevant. When he talks history it quickly becomes evident how brilliant he is.

Dr. Peretti is a very good professor. He may be boring at times but what professor isn't. He is a down to earth man and never have I seen him yell at a student. He is generally concerned with all of his students doing well and passing his class. I would recommmend taking one of his classes!

I had Dr. Peretti in 2001 for Historical Research. YES, he made us go to Yale. It was the best experience! I now teach high school social studies and MAKE my students go to Yale for the same experience. It really impacted the way I look at history and the way I utilize local sources.

Very Unprepared study sheet for tests and exams were useless what was on test was not on study sheet. Outlines subject he is talking about on board, but never elaborates so notes are useless. And skips around in history one day talks about 1890's next class talking about 1950's very confusing Teacher.

Absolutely the worst professor. VERY unprepared, and VERY full of himself. Is very unwilling to help students, and an unfair grader. DO NOT TAKE HIM!! There isn't one nice thing to say about him or his class!!!!!!

DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS WITH HIM!! He is soo boring and the things he talks about are pointless...the class would be too easy for freshman. He MAKES you go to Yale for a field trip, even if you have class, work, etc...he doesnt care at all. He just gives everyone a B or worse...I would NOT take any classes with him!

He definetly looks like Mr.Belding from saved by the bell except with more hair. he's cool guy who knows his stuff, always prepared. Pretty easy just go to class! 2 quizes,1 paper, 1 major assignment,midterm, and final. easy stuff laugh at his jokes. COVER YOUR MOUTH WHEN YOU YAWN!! he gets mad if u dont (its his petpeeve)

I took a few classes with him and they are all very good. He is not a hard teacher really, and is fun to listen to. His lectures and course material tend to focus on the more interesting points of the era studied. Some classes require a bit of reading but over all not too bad.

Great professor! Everything spelled out in great detail for you. Writes the outline of what he covers on the board so all you do is copy it down. If you go to class and do the little homework he asks, you'll get an easy A. His jokes are corny, but he's a smart dude so it's ok.
