Great English Professor. Class room was fun and enjoyable. She didn't lecture all hour. She let the students talk and debate about topics. Her assignments were very easy but helped you become a better writer. I am taking her Eng. 112 class next semester. Easy A if you turn in all your work. Loved her.

I thought that she was an overall average teacher. She does have attendance be mandatory, but really only sat there and talked/debated for a hour, so it really wasn't so horrible. There was a lot of papers, but she grades pretty well.

She seems nice at first, but she is very confusing. Forgets what she tells u to do. out of no where there will be an assignment due that the whole class has never heard about. She grades kind of hard.Very annoying. Give out a ton of work as if her class is your only class and the most important. Switch out if you can!

I liked her at first she seemed to be pretty nice, but she looks like a freaking bull dog its gross. You have to do a presentaion in her class, and a little advice don't do a topic she doesn't agree on because if you do she'll pick you apart even if you have good evidence and she'll give you a bad grade and make up fake complaints.UGH I HATE HER

I didn't like her class at all as a matter of fact i wanted to drop it the first day.THIS IS NOT A EASY class.If you love super old poetry, Debating, and writing lots of papers then you'll like this class. You also have to do a presentation and keep a portfolio and she takes attendance. Don't get the book!! u hardly use it

She is a very nice teacher, very sympathetic. If something goes wrong just tell her. I don't like her peer edit method because some of the peers don't know what they are talking about. Very helpful. She keeps handouts coming so you are sure on what to do.

she is a really funny looking lady, but her class is unbelievably easy! I would go to class without my final draft papers printed and she would let me leave class and go all the way to the MSB printers from the french hall and print it out, and never marked them late. Just talk to her when things go bad and she will work around them. EASY!

I actually think this professor is really good. She lets you rewrite your papers. She grades on improvement and effort. Not a very hard grader but like everything else just give it a try! Don't worry no midterm or final exams. She does a portfolio grade which includes all your previous writings.

Fun class, if you like debate. We spent a lot of class time debating research paper topics and op/ed articles. How on earth an english teacher can be liberal is beyond me, but she is. She makes you subscribe to Newsweek and write papers on VERY liberal articles. Doesn't teach a lot, just lets us do our thing. Kinda out of it sometimes.

Everyone should have to take Creative Writing with her. She is awesome. She makes you into a writer you didn't know you could be. As I understand it several people have won the Hopwood award for work they did in her class.
