Nicest lady ever. Extremely knowledgeable on her subject. You have to do your work and you can't get away with any slacking, but if you put in the effort you will get a good grade. Sometimes I found the material a little boring but thats mostly because I'm not too hot about history.

she's a really nice lady, but get ready to read. she expected us to read 250 page books in one night. the class is pretty boring if you're not interested in the stuff. you don't really have to read everything to be able to participate.

Dr. Hemphill is also my academic advisor and she's great! Very willing to help and is very encouraging. She has a lot of faith in her students and if you work hard you'll get the grade you deserve. Solid American history is what you'll get in her classes.
