went to her many times regarding study abroad. she was extremely moody all the time. while i was abroad, i had serious difficulties with my host family and she was absolutely NO help at all. the professors who came with us even emailed her and she was unwilling to help. ursinus could do without her, hands down.

Very helpful with Study Abroad, and she does make it affordable. I would recommend it to anyone reading this that is on the fence. UC may be expensive, but it’s ultimately worth it. I graduated 4 years ago and my salary and job was worth the loans.

She really wasn't that awful...apparently my speaking and comprehension improved a pretty good deal (according to my family, who do speak Spanish). The homework was annoying, though, and it never did ANYTHING to help (not kidding even a little bit). Nobody in the class had any clue what we did as it wasn't organized well at all.

Beware, those who study abroad. Tuition remission is a myth she will tell you you're elligible, but then when it comes time for remission, have your checkbook ready. She seems nice, but don't believe her enticements. Also be prepared to pay through the nose to UC, no matter what actual costs of the foreign university are.

Made problems for me with my study abroad plans and was entirely unhelpful. Wrote snappy emails to me and tried to make me look stupid in front of other profs. Completely useless in her job of being the *study abroad coordinator*.

I didn't have Dr. Hardin for a class, but she was my advisor freshman year. She was terribly absent-minded and was often unable to make her office hours. Additionally, she isn't very nice nor is she helpful either as a freshmen or study-abroad advisor.
