For anyone who is going to take a class with her, if you want to have an A, and for those of you whose English is not that good, I HIGHLY recommend that you record her class because she speaks so fast; trust me, it will help you a lot with her tests. Her tests are not very difficult if you study hard for it. She does curve grades.

Very knowledgeable and great lecturer. Her guidelines for the final paper are both too strict and confusing. Midterm is quite hard but she's a lenient grader. She's very nice and a bit quirky. Tough class, but you learn a lot. Her handwriting is pretty awful so I didn't understand any of her feedback. Grades depend completely on midterm and paper.

Nice professor, but her tests are very difficult. She doesn't give reviews or hints as to what's on the midterm and final. As for the final paper, she gives a four page guideline to follow for a five page max. paper. I recommend recording her classes because she talks for two hours, but anything can be on the exams. The actual fieldwork is fun.

Very friendly sweet and knowledgable. She reminds me of the Magic School Bus teacher because of how she dresses. Funny laugh, too! She will tell you that she doesn't lecture from the textbook, but you should still get it. It will help when you take exams because she is specific and detailed in them, they require writing. She responds to emails fast

I recommend that you take her. There is a heavy exam. You have to study your notes. Pay attention to the notes they are 60% of test. Take good notes. She is a lenient grader. The rest of the material are from textbook. The other 50% is the final research paper, and the evidence is based on your journals, which you a weekly log you must write.

Prof. Haritos is amazing. her lectures were captivating though the class was a lot of work. DEFINITELY keep up with the reading (no matter what she says) b.c. it is NECESSARY for the one and only test. Write your journals, study for the test and put your all into the final paper. And, know that she is always willing to help; she is super sweet.

Great Professor. She is a very nice and lovely lady, and dress with a style! Find what she taught is very comprehensible and interesting. Although she is vague about the syllabus/ expectation of the test, as long as you take a lot of notes in class, it is a an easy A. Favorite prof at Hunter!!

She's nice and explains a lot of the rigorous psychological theories well. The exam was perhaps the toughest part. But after that, it was all downhill from there. Overall, study hard for the exam and give it your best shot on the essay and you're on your way to an A.

She is an awesome professor with a very funny laugh that will make your day! Takes notice of her students, helps in any and every way possible. Pay attention to discussions in class, she uses them on the exams. Make sure to read, multiple choice on test can be tricky. Overall, very good class, gained a lot of knowledge.

The course itself is tough because it's information heavy. However, Haritos is such a wonderful professor who has passion for what she does. She cares for her students and has their back at all times. Just read and study for exams and you will get an A. The exams are difficult but she curves.

Professor Haritos is very sweet and understanding. She genuinelt cares about students and wants to make sure everyone understands the material. She wants everyone to do well on the exams, and she does curve. Even though she asks for a lot of details on the exams, she gives study guides. Two tests, no final, one 4 - 5 page paper.

Awful professor. Is extremely vague about what she expects on assignments and unclear about everything. During class she'd say "You don't need to take notes"-- only a caution to mean that you should. Touch exams, but curves grades. Although it looked like she was going to be the nice teacher this semester, the whole class ended up hating her.

A nice person, but her class is all over the place, doesn't follow textbook, goes back and forth within chapters, and you're not sure how to study for tests. I already took 3 PSY classes before, so I found it boring and superficial.

Really interesting teacher. Yes she can go off on tangents but it's still an interesting class. Lots of note taking, best to record the lecture but she does curve the test so you can get an A with a little work.

Truly one of the nicest, most caring professor I've ever had. But she should give clearer, more concise directions for the term paper (perhaps let us see a sample paper too). Also her exams are grueling, you have to regurgitate tons of details that you must memorize from your notes (and you take a LOT of notes during her long lectures).

Great professor, I learned a lot and became more interested in Ed. Pyschology. Just beware: her tests are extremely long and detailed, your hands will hurt from the writing! Studying hard both alone and with classmates helped me a lot.

Terrible "dumbed down" and watered down psychology. Tests and papers are too scattered and ambitious to accomplish with integrity.

She is wonderful and extremely kind. Students who are bashing her are only doing it because they probably did not pay attention in class or study for the test. She will go out of her way to help you out, and it's sad that people thought they could take advantage of because she is so kind.
