Though I have known Dr. Candy for a year now, this was my first time taking her class It was fantastic! The way she keeps her class engaged, especially during the night course, is unbelievable. I would absolutely take her class again, and would recommend her to anyone. If you need help, just ask! Shes awesome ;)

Dr. Candy is a fabulous professor. Tough, but fair. I may be biased with my love for psychology, but thanks to her I love it more. She sets up an online course like no other. Lectures are intriguing and well-written. Provides timely responses & specific expectations. Challenging but worth it! Stay objective, do practice quizzes and extra credit

I love this lady! She genuinely cares about her students, and basically helps you write the one big paper that you have for the course. She breaks the paper down into three sections over the course of the semester, and gives you feedback on what to correct, and how to correct it. If you do the practice quizzes, you will do on in-class quizzes.

Candy is tough but fair grader. As long as you do the practice quizzes online you will pass those and ask questions about the big project. It was confusing at first but after asking for help I caught on quick. She has a lot of energy and was very good at answering questions.

Amazing professor! She gives you everything you need to pass with a good grade. The final project is a lot but otherwise there's not much outside work. She gets back to you ASAP with any questions and puts grades up right away! She covers a lot in lectures with specific examples that are on quizzes and exams so go to lecture.

If you don't agree with her entirely, prepare to fail. She wants you to do things EXACTLY on certain days of the week, which is not typical of any online class I have ever taken. Her expectations are too high and she is unable to understand that her students have to work or take other classes. Worst professor I have had at this school.

She is very knowledgeable and excited by the material and expects a lot from you. This is not an easy course, expect to spend a lot of time reading lectures, writing essays and doing practice quizzes. That being said, you will come out of it with a clear understanding of the material. I would absolutely take her class again.

I really regret taking her class she is a very tough grader and has way too much energy hard to stand sometimes. Expects a lot from her students, this class is not easy by any means, her tests are very tricky!!! If she did not write it it's not good.

I hear sooooo many people say they love Dr Candy. I didn't really love her. She is very energetic and that is a good thing. But I took her class at night and I was always so tired, plus I was pregnant. Her super bubbly personality was annoying. She does this whole pause thing where she expects you to finish her sentence, but we are left confused.

Seriously reconsider if you plan on taking this class online. I have never been more confused in my life. ask for clarity; you get a ten page email full lengthy confusing instructions, links, and attachments. Wait you get those almost daily! Not a joke or exaggeration, I spent more time reading instructions then I did on work.

Dr. Candy is an amazing teacher! She makes it easy to get an A. I think some people just don't agree with the views she's teaching on parenting and child development. She was a great teacher, very energetic, kept you interested. She gave practice quizzes online and many of those questions were on her exams. I got a 97% with little effort

It was the most confusing online class I've ever signed up for. We were expected to meet on campus and discuss the online class and I had work and other obligations. It was just ridiculous. If you want a professor who conducts herself professionally, don't take Candace's class. She is so self righteous, all her lectures are about how well she raised her own kids. For class discussion, just suck up to her, if you question anything, you get marked down. Even as a last resort i wouldn't take her again, wait for another professor to open.

She was the most subjective teacher I have ever encountered. She has a very specific way that she would like assignments completed and sometimes does not share the entire set of directions until she is telling you how you did it wrong. Very frustrating.

I took Dev-Psych online with "Dr. Candy." What a mistake. As a professor she has such a subject attitude, and downgrades your work if you don't agree with her. Her instructions for assignments are so confusing, and if you ask her for help, she'll just email you a carbon copy of the instructions. Not helpful,very pompous. Overall bad class.

Great teacher she is very thorough willing to help you outside of class very fair explains everything in depth. Im not very studious and my head wasnt in her class half the time and i still got a B! Just take notes pay attention in class and study for her exams. The exams were the hardest part of the class but they are EXACTLY what you learned.
