Comment:

Very unenthusiastic professor. This was the one class where I have despised the professor and the teaching style. We are told to ask questions but when someone happens to ask one she basically calls you stupid for not knowing the answer to the question. If you rely on learning through doing examples on your own, good luck!

If you enjoy writing example problems from the book down for 4 hours a week, doing hours of homework, taking 1 question quizzes, taking tests outside class times, having a teacher who is very rude and makes faces when you ask questions, take this class!!! Hands down worst class I have ever taken. 10/10 would NOT reccomend

She is not a good professor, academically we would rush through chapters and she gives an attitude if you simply ask for help. I see the way she treated some students and simply it just is not helpful. I was struggling with calc and a tutor was better than her.

Terrible i took calc in high school & I think she made me worse shes the if i start at 801am & ur not there she marks you absent. Grades Extremely heavy even if u get the right answer on a quiz (which are 2 problems usually) she takes off points for not doing it her way

The woman is frustrating. She is very strict and ask for extra work which at some points seem very ridiculous. I would never take another one of her classes and she is the sole reason I will do my best to check RateMyProfessor before I make my schedule.

I personally do not find professor Weston to be all that bad. She works through various examples of problems and if you don't understand something, it is best to ask her outside of class. If you do the homework, show up to class, and study your notes you will be fine.

compared to a lot of people here that have taken her class, i personally enjoyed having her as an instructor. she definitely gives off this mean, rude old lady appearance, but i found her to be extremely sweet and helpful during lectures. her class is very fast paced, which i liked. the only downside is that she makes you submit work for the hw.

Not helpful, if you get lost or confused she won't take the time to help you understand the material. She gives tests/quizzes on material at the end of class AFTER 2 weeks of additional material that's NOT on these exams, which fills your mind with new material that you won't use for 2 weeks. I dropped the class and will no take her again.

WORST TEACHER in the school system. Students ask questions and she makes them feel stupid for asking. Once she said, "did you try the help me solve this" "yes" "did you try the tutoring center" "yes" "Ok well I don't have time to answer your question in class" Save yourself. Do not take her class avoid at all costs.

Her quizzes are really difficult. She moves very fast and you can't ask questions in class. I wouldn't take her again. She only teaches in the morning because she isn't around the rest of the day so you can't meet with her for help unless you come at 8am. I had her with Calc 1B.

Excellent teacher but the subject material is difficult if you are not up to speed already on algebra. Ms. Weston works very hard to help students do well. Her tests are fair and she covers the material before the tests. Attend class and the homework and you will learn the material and do well. But it took 4 hrs each week to do the homework

I haven't taken any math courses for over 10 years. She said I wasn't going to do well in this class and that I should take fundamentals of algebra because I got everything on the placement test wrong. Her teaching style is horrible. You're better off learning from Youtube. It takes 10 minutes on youtube and 3 hrs of hell in her class.

It is Calculus if you don't get it, it doesn't matter who the teacher is its going to suck. Having said that she does her best to make sure students do well in her class. She is a bit old school but if you do the homework, and take notes you will get a good grade.

Mixed bag. Lectures are not extremely helpful and she will defer you to the tutor instead of offering help. Class is not necessarily difficult, but it's certainly not easy. Show up everyday and do all the homework, you can get a respectable B. Just don't expect too much help from the teacher.

Wicked easy if you take notes and show up to class. Notes are exact questions on quizzes and exams. Don't expect a cake walk, just showing up won't get you a good grade but being a student will get you an A. I feel behind and half way through the semester had an F but still ended up with a B+. Def take her

She is intimidating and can be rude, but it all depends on the students. If you get to class on time, do your work, and participate, you will definitely get an A. She is very straightforward when teaching the material. I loved having her as a professor. You will learn a lot, but you really have to put in the effort. She can be a very nice woman.

This teacher is horrible! Please do not take her at any cost! She is very very rude and miserable. I asked to visit during office hours twice and she wasnt available. Quizez are nothing like homework. Yells at students for asking questions. I honestly dont know how she still has her job. Good luck if you are in her class. Transfer out if not late.
