Comment:
Dr Kramer is a slow instructor, which has its ups and downs. If you are bad at math, his slow lectures can be good, but it also bites you when he only goes over basic examples in class and then on quizzes and exams they are MUCH harder. Does not prepare you very well. He is a very nice guy though! A bit scattered and messes up problems often.

He skips around while teaching and He'll teach in chapter 2 then the next day he'll be teaching chapter 5 which is confusing and He teaches so in depth and talks about the most simple concepts andThe tests are way more complicated than what he goes over in class aNd His style of teaching didn't work for me

Do not take. Prof Kramer is very unorganized. Does not prepare students for exams and is always following behind in class. Lectures are very boring. Skips steps in problems assuming everyone is math expert. Makes mistakes while doing problem on the board. Take someone else.

professor Kramer is an interesting character. He cracks a lot of jokes that may or may not be funny but laugh any way? You can tell he cares about his students in a way that no other professor here does, which is nice. he always provides practice exams and quizzes so take advantage of those.

Doesn't follow the syllabus; slow with grading. Slow teaching, resulting in suffering exam grades due to lack of preparation; exams are 45% of final grade. Gives extra credit on quizzes Glazes over difficult concepts but goes in depth with simple concepts. If Calc isn't your thing, consider a different professor with a better teaching style.

The tests are way more complicated than what he goes over in class. He is a nice guy but I had to drop the class. His style of teaching didn't work for me

Mr. Kramer is a super funny and nice guy, but his style of teaching is all over the place. He can go from teaching section 3.2 to 4.6 back to 3.7 all in one lecture. He also hates when you use your phone at all and I've seen him kick students out over having their phones out.

He is probably the worst math teacher I've ever had. He goes extremely slow and constantly makes mistakes in teaching Calculus methods. He doesn't like phones/computers to even be seen. Had I not taken Calc in HS I don't think I'd pass. He honestly doesn't know how to teach. He never knows what's going to be on the test until the class right before

He works very slow. Probably too slow for most in the beginning of the class, but very helpful pace for later. He has occasional quizes that arnt too difficult and a couple tests that cover a lot a material and can be daunting. avoid if you are a bad procrastinator, homework is all due at the end of semester which can hurt you a lot.

I had Prof. Kramer my freshman year and he made a 5pm class super fun. He wants his students to pass and makes sure the material is understood by all. His quizzes were easy and there were extra credit questions. The Math department is in charge of exams and those are harder but Prof. Kramer is willing to help. Definitely would take again!

Professor Kramer greatly cares about his students learning. He did not give too many quizzes and always wanted to make sure that his students greatly understood the material he was teaching, He was not afraid to spend extra time on certain subjects that were difficult and has a great understanding of the Calc 1 material.

Although Kramer goes very slowly and can be forgetful, he makes sure his students know the material. His quizzes are easy and he grades them fairly, but the tests and finals are through the department so those tend to be harder.

He works quite slowly through problems, in many cases way too slow and way too in-depth. It gets to a point where we don't cover the stuff required for each test... like miss entire sections that we need to know for the exam and you have to teach it to yourself. With that said, he is a great guy can be quite generous with grades.

Works very slowly through example problems, but that's kind of a plus since you won't get lost. He's very fair with grading and homework due dates. A practice quiz will always be given before quizzes and he's pretty much always available for help outside of class. Try not to use your phone in class too much. Not the best, but definitely good.

He wasn't very good during lectures but was a great guy. He gave examples that were much simpler than what we were tested on, though. He will help if you need it and that's good.
