Such an amazing person. Probably one of the most intriguing, intelligent ppl I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He is funny and helpful. He is personable & makes you feel comfortable during class discussions. I got an A in his class. Do his papers, READ THE LITERATURE, & participate. You will do fine in his class. yeah who's the guy in the picture...not Dr. Calendar He is a smart, interesting, pretty cool guy, took world lit 2 and found it to be interesting to be in the class discussions although i swear i think he thought i was kind of an idiot...made me work harder and i got an A the class was interesting and i left feeling like i was a lot smarter!

Although i thought that he was an alright professor i found him to be somewhat condescending to me. Not in a way that made me hate him, it was more aggrivating and it made me want to try better so that he would have a better opinion of me. That never happened. The class was okay though.

carl is a nice guy but he won't learn your name unless you make an impression on him and i dont think that is fair. fair grader but i think there should be more to base the semester grade on. for ex. i did all the readings and took notes and still got a B+ because i'm not the greatest writer. interesting class
