Good prof i didn't think I would like this course but he made it very interesting. There were a lot of books to read but most of them were enjoyable. As long as you read all of the books and go to class you can get an A. I had TA Carrie and she was great, nicest TA i have had so far !

Great class. If I worked harder at it and did better on my essay I definitely would've gotten a high B. But you can get an A easily if you know the material and just ask him the right questions. i asked him how to write an essay and he gave me some guildelines! really nice and knows his stuff

Great professor! If you have any questions he is easy to approach. You just need to ask him the right questions and he will help. He is really flexible, its important to attend class or you will miss a lot. If you know the material and you are able to write an essay than you will definitely get a good mark!

nice guy, but terrible class! its so boring, so long and so useless. the guest speakers were not helpful, they didnt teach us anything, and went through a billion slides, u were lefts all alone to study a huge mass of information. Not what i thought this class would be about, its only history, seriously consider a different humanities.

So far this class isn't the best. HUGE class size. Lectures are boring and more history of religion rather than topics about religion and today. If someone has completed this class and has a copy of his slides can you please email them to me by clicking on the mail icon?

"Old Boys Club" comes to mind. He was completely unhelpful when I had a problem with my TA! I found him totally unapproachable and one on one was uncomfortable. Oh, and what's with the Woody Allen humour?

Wonderful man who was easy to talk to. He only lectures for three classes but when he did lecture it was enjoyable (relative to the other lecturers) and easy to follow. The class itself was incredibly easy (exams were all multiple choice straight from the text) and the two essays were simple. A good introductory class. Light readings a well.
