Karl is one of a kind indeed but his grading is terrible. He is a funny professor that is for sure but is not very helpful. He gets off topic a lot of the time and will lecture you till you fall asleep.

Carl is one of a kind. I hope the Marian community understands how lucky they are to have such a valuable asset on their payroll. The unbelievable introspection, reflection, and greater understanding of my life that I was made aware of during his classes has been invaluable! Thanks Carl!

He keeps class interesting. We talk about inappropriate things and joke about it. He's kind of spacey, and I think he's certifiably insane, but I like him. If you want an A in the class, you can get it if you work for it.

Carl was very fair and helpful. Also, he really makes you think about what really matters. His are some of he best I had at Marian. Most students felt that way. Those who didn't, were the ones who just wanted an easy way out. They didn't want to be challenged.

I found this class to be very hard and confusing in regards to the professor. He was very confusing on what he wanted you to write about;however,if you went to him outside of class he could better explain it in greater detail.Group discussions were essential because it gave been ideas to put into your papers. Just a lot of reading

I think he hates Wisconsin, Fond Du Lac, and Marian but hasn't contributed anything to his field, so he won't be going to bigger and better places. Despite this, he's a bit of snob, especially with people that he's dimly aware are smarter than him. So act dumb, write your papers accordingly, and you're golden.

Carl is the best teacher at Marian College. If you have half a brain you will really appreciate his class. It's those students that can't think for themselves that struggle in this class.
